Pull through level sites with great wifi and cell service. Big Rig friendly. 50 amp service. The site itself is fairly small, but easy in and out and no need to wind into the mountains to find a campsite. There is a creek that runs past the back of the campground and a mini golf course that wasn’t open when we were there, perhaps due to Covid. More than 1/2 of the campers appear to be permanent. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Newport has all the essentials including a Walmart, Lowe’s and a number of restaurants. There are truck stops at Newport for fueling needs.
