All across your RV site even the parents won’t care and walk through your site. Lots of campfires it’s definitely more of the campground type then trailer park type of that’s your thing. Kids playing pranks in the bathrooms shutting lights off on you, parents let them run around like crazy while they all drink around fires and don’t care. Pretty sure one of them vomited outside my RV late one night. Sites are very tight as well. There is zero cell service for anyone and they do not provide wifi! They at least need to provide wifi knowing no one has service! You’ll need to drive several miles down to the end of the road and park there with many others trying to get service. Couldn’t wait to leave. Having said that when it’s not a weekend it’s nice to see the mountains and walk the docks. Not really any boats there though. The addition of tree houses looks neat though they’re really just sheds to sleep in on raised stilts. The laundry room is brand new!

  • Noisy, no grass, very tight spaces

Our spot was right on the river and adjacent to the tent sites. The weekend had some noisy neighbors but things really cleared out Sunday and Monday was very peaceful. There are several long-term residents on the other end of the park (cheaper) but mostly it’s clean & tidy. The place seems fairly well maintained and functional but is showing its age and is in need of some repair. Fishing for OTS (other than salmon) was unproductive. The entire riverfront is dock so there is plenty of room to try your skills. Verizon coverage is borderline but if you’re outside in the right spot and hold your mouth just right, you can get two bars. You’re not going to be streaming video but it’s enough to write reviews on Campendium! There are some nice private tent sites in the back woods if you like privacy. Only a mile from the highway and a quick trip into town.

There are several long-term residents mostly in the cheaper non-river sites. Our site was big enough for a 30’ trailer & pickup with room to spare. Water is OK & power stayed on. Be advised - there is no WiFi. I have Verizon and had one bar an no data inside the trailer. If you are in the right spot outside and hold your mouth the right way, you can get 2 bars and enough data to function but you won’t be streaming video. Only about a ten minute drive into Lincoln City. The entire riverfront has a pier to fish of of but in three days I saw nothing caught. There are boats for rent for crabbing or fishing. The ownership is in transition and I hope the new owner will focus on updates and repairs.

Busy in season, but figure a good chance of reservations on short notice. Received spotty cell calls and unreliable texts. 3G / 4G booster did nothing to improve an almost non-existent cell signal (Verizon). It will be a dependable destination for the mid-coast when I can do without internet connection. Sites are very narrow and tight with the neighbors.

  • Would camp here again in a pinch

My own Verizon mifi coverage was inconsistent. I tried their WIFI and it worked however they say they sometimes change the password several times a day due to misuse. I parked where it said to park to register however that interfered with the cars trying to launch the boats and I have to move mid-registration. Mixed friendliness with the staff. Woke up to wood chippers making lots of noise. I had thought I'd stay 2 nights but was glad to get out. My site was too shady and damp. Would be better in the heat.
