Very nice folks. They have upgraded the infrastructure. Used to be a drive in movie theatre long ago. We had the choice of 30 amp or 50 amp. Bring water pipe protection for your hoses. Easy on and off Hwy 395. We had a pull through spot. Very easy hook up facilities. Not too crowded. Nice trees. Quail all over the place! Fun to watch. Some deer as well. Heard coyotes in the distance. They broke pumpkins for the deer. Nice place for little walks! Little noise from the highway. Lots to do nearby when the weather permits. Nice laundry. Four washers and driers. Did not need the showers. But the restrooms were very clean and nice! Very nice WIFI. Had no trouble streaming during the storm. Had great cell coverage. Tall Town Deli and Cafe has great breakfast. Can get anything you need in town. We’ll be back.

Nice place, only draw back is that everything is basic gravel so it can be dusty. Easy access, friendly and helpful owners and we had great WiFi at our site. We had plenty of room and no trouble getting level, we travel in a 35' class A and pull a 20' car trailer. Would stay here again.
Well kept & convenient

Check-in couldn’t have been easier, but I wish that they were following the state mask mandate in place at the time of our stay. Base Camp made a convenient stop on our way into Oregon (it’s right on the highway, but traffic is low enough that road noise was nonexistent), offering relatively level FHU sites, a nicely sized dog run, and a bunch of other amenities that we didn’t use on our short stay (laundry, propane, playground, etc). Our site was long enough, utilities were easy to reach and worked well (including a handy frost-free water hook-up), and while it felt roomy, that may be because we had no neighbors. We passed through during their slower season, so the park was quiet and there were many open sites, and it’s hard to say if this CG would feel less spacious during their busier months. The CG is also all dirt, and we happened to come in post-snow melt, so there was plenty of mud (nothing that affected our ability to park, camp, or drive-in/out), but again… your timing/experience will vary. Nightly rate is currently $35.

Good wifi, cafe on site, cell signals are pretty good too. Spots are pretty tight though, some spots don’t have picnic tables. Hosts are very friendly.
Quiet, Friendly, great stop over.
