We felt very safe, and I think they have security that goes around at night.

We were lucky to get in as there were not many sites available. We stayed here April 17th to May 1st. It is your typical RV park with many permanent residents and close neighbors. It is right off the highway and there is a little bit of highway noise, but it isn't too loud. The park itself was very quiet. Close to all amenities. There is laundry on site. There is no designated/fenced in dog park. Most people walked their dogs along the perimeter. Great AT&T and Verizon service. We were both able to work during the day with no issues. We would stay here again if we had to do an overnight stop, but not for an extended stay.

Super easy access from Highway 84. We stayed here on our way to Joseph and it was perfect. Check in is easy and the staff very friendly.30 amp FHUs all worked fine. Trees give some shade but are low for taller rigs. Pull through sites for over nighters. Interior roads are good, a bit narrow. When we pulled in there was quite a bit of snow on the ground so I feel like I truely never got to see the park.We were supposed to only be there for one night, but there was a bad storm (Nov of '15) the next day and it sounded like Meechum and Cabbage passes were going to be really nasty and dangerous, so we stayed one more night to let the storm pass before heading out.The hosts were very nice. I'd like to try the place out in the spring, summer or fall, when we could actually see and enjoy it.It is right off the highway so you do get some highway noise.[Actual stay was 10/18/15]

They welcome both overnighters and residents. The residents' area is very well-kept, however, without a lot of junk lying around. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. We arrived on a busy Saturday in July, and they were apologetic that they couldn't give us a "better" site -- the site was perfectly fine, it just didn't have quite as much privacy as many others.Mature trees and healthy lawns help create a peaceful environment. There is, however, constant traffic noise from the nearby highway, and several times during the day and night, freight trains pass quite close; so if noise is an issue, this isn't the place for you.Restrooms and laundry were very clean, and the laundry is only $1 per load; ice is also available at the same price as the local Walmart. La Grande is a pretty small town, but this park is close to restaurants, a good brew pub, and groceries and gasoline. Cell service for both AT&T and Verizon is excellent; they have several WiFi broadcast antennas throughout the park, and the connection speed was pretty good, though a little slow at peak evening hours, when everyone was watching TV.
