This campground feels like it's off the beaten path but it was only a couple miles off the Interstate and well worth it. Great access, long pull throughs, very well-maintained, plus there's a soaking pool! Beautiful location.Cell service not great, but there was wifi. Occasional train noise, but nothing crazy.

It was a great surprise filled with beauty, history, and soaking pools. Near the RV park is a Lodge owned by the same family. We went there to visit, but didn't have time to use the soaking pools there. Any use of the Lodge pools is a different fee. Worth the visit there to see it even if you don't choose to use the pools. Both facilities were not crowded in early June after Memorial Day Weekend. The staff is friendly and helpful, the bathrooms and showers are clean, and the sites are clean and very spacious pull-through sites. This is family owned and they seem to take pride in their improvements which you can see progress on while you stay. They have any type of stay you desire:Full RV hook-upTent camping2 Yurts1 CabinLodge a mile away

Sites are long, flat, and level with 50 amp, water and sewer hookups. We enjoyed the great walking paths around the perimeter of the park to walk our dogs. The pool and hot tub are heated geothermally and are warm, soothing, and oh, so relaxing. We can’t say enough about the professional staff, who were warm, friendly, and helpful. We even had some packages delivered here, which was a big bonus for us. We a lot of other friendly campers here. The WiFi is top-notch. This is our favorite Oregon campground and we highly recommend a stay here. For videos on the campground, visit YouTube: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

The resort is very clean and well maintained. Sites are all gravel and level and well spaced with grass between pads. It is an excellent place to stay with dogs...large grassy area at one end and grass path all the way around, about 1/2 mile around. It is also a few miles from the freeway and very quiet. It is at the edge of an Oregon wildlife refuge. We lived in this area for many years and would recommend Mike's Market in Union, especially if you need meat. Gas is always a little cheaper in Union as well.

Drinking water at the spigot cones from an artesian well and can not be beat! Weird things to be impressed by but every other part of the stay was so pleasant that I kept extending. Super polite and helpful staff, caring neighbors, relaxing hot pools with enough social distance, and all the other amenities.

No fires at your site, communal fire rings still available first come... military, aarp, aaa, good sam saves about $5.00. Friendly staff, when you see them. Gravel road off main highway to get to the park, probably would be dusty later in the year. Bring bug spray.. lots of little flying bugs but maybe it was just the early summer hatching, so keep your doors closed. Mostly all pull through sites. Trains pass by off in the distance, no horn zone!

Laundry worked great. We had booked a week but ended up extending our stay to two weeks. Super friendly staff and we had several packages delivered to the office no problem. They would even call you when your package arrived. The only downside we found was that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening. The campground is next to a wetland conservation area. This was in July, though, so perhaps they are not as bad during other times of the year.We will definitely stay again if we're near La Grande!* Rate reflects weekly discount

Pretty drive if you take the "circle tour" down to the town of Union and around back to La Grange (Hwy 30/230 just at end of campground road to 237 and follow back toward La Grande.)

Insider tip- head over to La Grande and visit downtown. It's a super cool little place. Side B Brewing is top notch.
