This resort is so lucky to have him. He was always accommodating with a smile. Thank you Chris for making our stay perfect!

Pros:- right on upper Klamath lake- 40 minutes from crater lake- quiet - clean bathrooms Cons:- this place is small and tight so if you have a rig over 25 feet it’s going to be a challenge navigating- smells like sewer and garbage sometimes - expensive

I wish I had started with her instead of making the reservation online. This campground is a bit quirky in its layout. It can accomodate big rigs, but in only a few spots. Unfortunately, the website does not always give accurate info. So CALL. Luckily, we were running late so I called to check how they handled late check ins. In doing so, I discovered that our booked site handles rigs up to 25 feet, a good ten plus feet too short. Jeri suggested we go into site 18 at least for first night, then we would figure it out. By the time we arrived, they discovered that 20 was vacant and put us there for the first three nights of our stay. Then we had to move to their "emergency" site of 10. Site 20 was lovely, right on the water. Site 10 was up in the trees with a view of the lodge so not as pretty. The key thing is that maneuvering this campground is tricky. You can do it in a 36 foot, but only if you are a sure driver. To get out of #20, we had to drive down a narrow passage, then back into a site to pull out forward, watching the whole time for poles, trees, and the mirror of one rig. Site 10 required equal dexterity in getting in and out. If you are less than 25 feet, no issues. The park itself is very woody and right on the lake. They have kayaks, canoes and motor boats for rental, a great store and a restaurant on site as well as some outdoor games like corn hole. It is about an hour from Klamath Falls (where there are no falls) and Crater Lake. The staff and campers were all super friendly and worked hard to help the campers thus giving it a four star in my opinion. I definitely recommend it as a great stop if you are in the area and a strong driver. Cell was good enough for us to work, but tended to go out occasionally or slow. We did not try the campground wifi which is available.

I don’t know how my boyfriend did it.it’s very tight to maneuver. - wifi super weak - the dryer doesn’t dry all your clothes in the first cycle

Nice to be so close to the water. It’s pretty small and tight. I liked it but wouldn’t stay again. It’s out of the way for from interstate.

Very pretty- we were able to get a spot right on the lake. My daughters fished off the pier. We were there in late July, and at dusk and dawn the mosquitoes were unbearable. We couldn't leave the PUP, even with a fire smoking in the firepit, citronella candles and our thermocel running, and wearing bugspray. Be prepared. It's also all dirt. Dusty dirt. A little bit of gravel on the "pad" areas would help. Bathrooms were okay - restaurant had fried foods but a good selection of adult beverages. Small shop had necessities. Good base for heading to Crater Lake National Park. Main reason I'm adding a review - this place is in the middle of nowhere. 45 minutes from the closest gas station, going South. If you're headed East when leaving (like we were), make the 45 minute south drive back the direction you came (yes, it will add 1.5 hours to your trip) to get gas before heading East through the wildlife preserve. Otherwise you may run out of gas (like we did). OR just fill up completely before heading to Rocky Point in the first place (like we should have).

Some tight turns/spaces, but overall it was spaced out well enough and we thoroughly enjoyed spot # 9 (not level). Dirt, mostly, with some gravel around the roads. Right on the lake, with an attached restaurant that was better than expected. We enjoyed a few beers and dinner directly overlooking the lake. Cell reception was adequate for us to work remotely. Check-in was painless, and done through the restaurant (by the bartender/waitress/single person working). We did not use the restrooms/facilities, but they were very clean and well-kept. Canoes, fishing boats, and kayaks were for rent at the office. Overall this was a decent site for a day or two visit. With a longer visit, we would have spent time on the lake. We exited through the public boat ramp area as we did not have to make a tight turn inside the RV park. It was a straight drive out of the parking site and out the back gate.

rocky point resort is situated on the south side of klamath lake and has absolutely stunning views. they have a restaurant, showers, toilets, fire pits, a general store and laundry room - although the dryers did not work too well. it's a neat spot but if passing through again, i would most likely find a different option.

It's a bit on the older side and really big rigs would have a hard time with some of the back in sites but the pull through are not too hard to get in to. Getting out is a bit awkward as there isn't a lot of space to turn around but it is doable. The upside of this place is of course the lake! Beautiful views, kayaking, fishing are all abundant here. The resort itself is a tad older but not terrible. It's kept neat and clean. The laundry only has two washers and two dryers so there can be a wait. Now the absolute BONUS of this place is the restaurant on location!! This place sources only local foods and with the incredible views of the lake it is a truly amazing dining experience. Would definitely stay here again!
