Concrete campgrounds are not our preference. We prefer more rural….campgrounds with green grass, trees, large sites and friendly owners and guests. Only 5 miles to Hammond which has quaint downtown as well as major box stores. An hour to New Orleans and various plantations. New owners Scott and Arlene were the best hosts. Always helpful and available. True southern hospitality. Fellow residents and campers really friendly too There are amenities for kids - playgrounds, swimming pool , adjacent river. Wish we were here at the end of month, they are sponsoring a Swamp Pop music venue. We would definitely return
