This is probably the best KOA we've stayed at in our experience. The location in Grants Pass, OR is great. The park sits next to a river with waterfalls. There are trails. It's just a great park over all. We camped at Grants Pass KOA Journey in a Motorhome.

Therefore the restrooms were not available, this is disappointing as I prefer to use the restrooms in a park when I can (I am in charge of dumping the black). Another negative was that the WiFi did not cover the lower part of the park. The campground itself is a true campground. Gravel roads, non-symmetrical sites. Our site was next to a canyon with a creek below. We just had a bit of an issue with a 'permanent' camper in a tiny home next to us. I parked too close to the dividers in place that protected her sewer connection. I did NOT touch them though. She confronted my wife about it in an initially belligerent manner. I joined in the conversation and we were able to calm it down and I moved my truck. However, the AT&T service was excellent!

It is away from town and on a road with other privately owned property...no industrial activities or businesses of any kind. We've never stayed at a KOA that had so many trees and separate hook areas, not to mention, creek with waterfalls and swimming holes. Our spot #18 has its own deck with table and chairs (see pic).We think the best sites, some right over the creek, are numbers 1 thru 19. It actually felt like we were in more of state park than a RV campground.
