Can’t see the beach, but it is a minute walk. This is in the middle of town so walking distance to most things will be easy.

Only 1 other camper here during our stay, and got a front row view. The day ended in a gorgeous sunset, and we could hear and see waves right from our living room window. For $35, it’s a great deal. Even though no facilities are open due to Covid, anywhere else you’d pay $80 for this type of spot. We’re self contained, and have shower and bathroom in our rv anyway, so we weren’t put out. This place is minimal, but worth the price and really stunning.

Ok sites, some pull thrus. A short walk to beach. Cute little lighthouse in yard. No bathrooms or showers available tho “due to covid”. Weird since no other rv parks we’ve been in in last 3 weeks have closed the showers/restrooms. Still 35/night plus tax. Feeling cheated
Location can’t be beat!

Small RV park that is set back off of the road and very quiet. Just a short walk through the dunes to the beach. Facilities were closed because of Covid. Cell service excellent, WiFi usable but spotty. Picnic tables in all sorts of disrepair. Nothing fancy but quiet and great location.

I stayed here for one night... got the first spot on the top row. It was a really nice view. There weren't many people there, so it was nice and quiet. The campsites are pretty primitive, but it was ok...After reading some other reviews... I was glad I didn't stay at Turtle rock

We moved down to Ireland's and were only going to stay a week but couldn't leave, so we stayed another. It was a little more than we like paying and no specials for staying a week. This place was the spot on the beach we had been waiting for so my review might be a little whimsical. The beach is fairly windy most of the time but there are so many beautiful things to see and do in the area along the coast. The Rogue river has lots of trails for hiking and so does Brookings which is 30 min south. There are tons of pull offs to view the ocean and people told me you can stay overnight there in your rig if you want, boondocking. There are restaurants to eat at but only one fast food place, a Subway. Indian Creek breakfast is the place to go though we never made it. We ended up at the Porthole 3 times for their delicious fish and chips and pies, clam chowder was really really good too. Tried the pizza place (not Panthers), recommend the wings and the view. I have to say that we really enjoyed this area and I am glad we stayed a month to be able to enjoy the different parts. Also my dog had dental surgery at the Town and Country vet in Brookings, would recommend if you need a vet on the road. Access: On the beach side of 101, easy to pull into, some spots have trees that make it a little hard to park for larger rigs. Sewer connections can be far, depending on site.Location: A short walk down a path and past the small lighthouse on property takes you directly to the beach. We walked down multiple times a day to comb the beach for agates and driftwood and of course to watch the sunset. Cleanliness: I didn't use the restrooms or laundry, but saw the laundry only has 1 washer and 1 dryer. We were here for the 4th of July and some neighbors were messy when they left but they were picked up by staff I assume. Site Quality: We saw a 43 foot park here but nothing larger than that would fit. Some 50 and some 30 amp, center row seems to be where most 50 amp are but trees can make parking a little tricky. WIFI was spotty. We also had trouble with AT&T occasionally but mostly it worked.Noise: I could hear the ocean from our spot, it was heaven and if we didn't have neighbors I could see it in the distance.
Beach access is great, we would stay here again

Grounds are kind of tight and the turn may be able to miss off of Hwy 101. You get to pick your site, then register at the Gold Beach Inn lobby. We called for a reservation the morning of 7/8 and the park was full by 5pm.
