Had no reservations in mid summer but they had a spot was gravel parking lot. But fine for night host super friendly. You do not have to be veterans as another review said just a port run rv park. Marina across street lots of restaurants in walking distance.

  • A place to regroup.

We saw a sign saying USCG and RV park, we pulled in and it was closed but. The sign on the door said " find camp host" we did and asked if they had a spot? Now remember you have to be a veteran or active duty, to use these campgrounds. We have our DV plates and my VA card so, they gave us a spot. It had full hook ups plus cable and the showers and laundry are clean. You can't get any closer to the ocean then this place and if you're into seafood, you can walk to the docks 100 feet and you can pick your choice, right off the boats coming in. The site is gravel but level, sadly the park is not well taken care of but like I said. It's a place to reqroup after a long day on the road.

Laundry is 2 washers and 2 dryers for 1.25 each. All sites are angled back ins. They have nice looking plantars that become a nuisance while backing up. Each spot appears to have a nice wooden picnic table. Wifi works good, as our Verizon struggled greatly. Camp host was very courteous and checked us in early. This park is close to several restaurants, as well as seafood markets. The bad: the mill across the street. I didn't comprehend how noisy this was going to be. I am in a spot on 7th street and the noise is incredible. During the day with the ac running, it isn't terrible. At night it quieted down by 10p, but was still noticeable. By 5am it was unbearable. We ran fans, dehumidifer, etc and it didn't help. We are night owls who typically fall asleep at 1am, we slept 4 hrs. I wish I didnt cheap out and would have booked Harbor View or Old Mill.
