Verizon kept dropping calls, forget data. ATT 3g but I was able to work.

Great campground close to Crater lake. Beautiful, well maintained campground. The creek running through is beautiful. Owners are super nice and helpful. Great little camp store with all the essentials. Absolutely would return if we are in the area again. WiFi is available but can be a bit spotty.

  • Great place to camp but dog fee is unnecessarily high for RV sites.

We enjoyed our stay here. The new owners are polite and friendly and working on many improvements. There is some nice amenities including a store, a kitchen that can be rented to prepare meals for a large group, a playground, canoes, a covered bridge and a floating bridge to access the trail on the other side of the creek. There are cottages(which did not appear to be currently open) as well as, log cabins, glamping teepees, full hookup, partial hookup and tent sites. The resort is beautiful and well run with just a few minor repairs that were not yet completed in the women's shower. We were in site 18 which is partial hookup and close to the road. The noise levels at night were not a problem but due to the fact that Crater Lake is not open to yet due to Covid 19 restrictions probably kept the traffic to a bare minimum. The only issue I had with the resort is that they charged us $14 dollars for dog fees on our 2 small dogs. This is the only place that we have stayed that charged that much extra in dog fees with an RV site. I understand that cabins and glamping tents are expensive to repair and dogs can cause significant damage in them which could easily justify a $14 dog fee. Many places will refuse to allow dogs in their buildings for this reason. However there is not much that a dog can damage in an RV site. I am not sure if the fee was $7 dollars per dog or if it would be $14 for even just one dog, but I seriously doubt they have had to do enough repairs on the campsites to justify the fee. Since I will probably always have my dogs with me, I am not likely to stay here again and would not have booked the stay if their website had clearly stated the amount of the dog fee.

Super busy in summer, but we were only RV in November, and only one cabin besides us in entire resort. No bugs either. Wonderfully friendly hosts, terrific facility, will definitely come back.

Even accommodated us when I made the reservation for the wrong dates. It is super close to Crater Lake National Park so very convenient, but their sites are short. We were in site #16, we are 41ft long so we literally stuck out in the middle of the road & they put cones around the front of our coach so nobody would hit it. The creek is beautiful & clear & cold (in October anyway). There is a ton of stuff for kids. They seem to cater more to folks staying in their cabins than RVs, but we would definitely stay here again.Only dings were the poor Verizon signal & road noise though it does die down after about 2-3 am.

There was a bit of a current in the river so no swimming, but the playground and stuff for the kids was nice as well.

We were told to take RV site #23 which was at the southern end of the fence along the highway. I was apprehensive about this location, fearing it would be noisy next to the road but traffic noise was essentially nonexistent after dark. On top of that, site #23 has no neighbors to the south (or camp) side. Bonus!! Wi-Fi was good for YouTube videos, updating maps and weather on iOS devices. AT&T service was ZERO. We used the shower (note: singular) which was hot and free but didn’t drain well. Other minor complaint: the water spigot at our site leaked significantly - to the point that we opted to simply fill our fresh tank and use our onboard water pump. This was brought to the attention of the manager on duty, she seemed apologetic, took a photo of the leak w/ her smartphone and said she’d report it to the maintenance person. We would absolutely return to this campground when in the Crater Lake area again. There’s a sweet little walking trail along a gorgeous, clear, and calm little stream. Watch out for the “floating bridge” as it can get your shoes a little wet if you’re not careful when hopping onto it!

The sites are small (typical for a private campground) but there is a lot of "common area" in the campground so you don't have that cramped feeling that is so common in private campgrounds. There are 6 electric only sites along the main road. At this time of the year (October) the road was not very busy so this was not an issue. In any event, what traffic there is is essentially auto traffic (no trucks) so even the sites along the road are peaceful. The real gems are the 13 full hook up sites that back up to Fox Creek. If you have a rear seating area in your RV, you will definitely appreciate the view. There is a nicely stocked camp store on site which is a good thing because this area is remote and there are not a lot of good food shopping alternatives nearby. A special note: The wifi at this campground was among the best and most reliable we have encountered. Which is a good thing because cellular data was marginal.Note, despite the listing on Campendium indicating that they have 50 or so sites, this CG only has 19 RV sites.
