Nice little campground. Water and sewer at RV sites. Had a few intermittent power issues but overall a great stay. Nice owners and good neighbors. A little loud off the highway but awesome access to Skyline Drive! Would stay again for sure.

Locally owned joint. Old facilities. We stayed because our other choices were not available. Camp next to folks sleeping in car and small tents. There is a bath house with hot water- and a couple stalls and showers have a lock hook. Water - Electric- Yes.

We had planned to dry camp in Shenandoah NP, but the weather was so hot we could not afford to be without electricity with our pets. We decided to camp closest to the park entrance and that put us at Swift Run Campground, only 7 miles from the park. We decided to camp closest to the park entrance and that put us at Swift Run Campground, only 7 miles from the park. The place is super rundown, the sites are not leveled, and both pool are filthy green with bugs. There are a lot of beat up trailers at this location, only a few sites available, and the highway (US33) runs right next to the camp, the traffic noise is loud. There is no laundry, no wi-fi, and phone service is horrible. The best thing in the park? THE HOST, "Diana" super nice lady, always helpful. The showers were okay, the bathhouse needs work. The good thing was that the campground is only 3 miles from town (Elkton) restaurants, gas stations and stores. I will only stay here in an emergency situation.
