Caveat: I did not spend a night in this park. That said, I can relay the park conditions and overall impression. While I agree with the first reviewer that the park manager was exceptionally nice and courteous, I would not recommend this place for people who want a relaxing vacation spot. First, as he said, the park and all the sites, are within a rock’s throw of Highway 97 and it’s pretty loud. Second, few of the spots are level. The park sits on a gradual incline, which could be overcome with some work by the park owners, but almost every site is sloped. Leveling on most sites is probably doable. Third, the park is not at all attractive due to the permanent residents. Fourth, there is little to no privacy as the sites are generally open in all directions. Fifth, the park is very dusty. A bit of dust might be OK, but this one was pretty bad. Now, for the good. The park manager was extremely courteous and empathetic. Shortly after my wife and I arrived, we had to leave for a family emergency. The manager refunded our entire payment. Also, the park is extremely convenient to the Cascade Lakes/La Pine area.

This is a decent spot to stay if you want a central base for exploring Crater Lake, Newberry Volcano, Ft Rock, etc. The manager/owner was very nice and a good communicator. The first part of the park is filled with semi permanent residents with full connections. Short term was at the back, which i enjoyed because i had more space. In general, the occupants were quiet, but the RV park sits next to highway 97. Electric but no water at these sites (26). The park is walking distance to a restaurant, tavern and grocery store. WiFi was weak.
