Quiet in a woodland. Was a very peaceful place. Mandatory 8::0 PM check in. They don’t answer their phone but did return a call. I would stay there again provided we can get there before 8:00 pm.

Not my first choice but they are open in February. 30 amp only, pedestal is almost on the ground with no breaker. site not level but long enough that I didn't have to unhook. Weird check in. Call main number, message says they are open. When you arrive, there is another number on the office to call to check in. Acted like I was bothering him, not rude but seemed not happy to have a customer.

We arrived late in the night. Their phone message said if we were getting the message they had room. We arrived and there was a note on the door saying to call the number written before doing anything. So I did. And it was a very sleepy sounding man. I know it was late. I thought price for only water & elect where a bit high, this campground is an old camp that host children camps during the summer. it was highly maintained and groomed. the facilities were clean. gravel roads/sites were mostly level. I did find our site a little tight to get into, I had to back up and pull in to get in straight. Overa...moreI thought price for only water & elect where a bit high, this campground is an old camp that host children camps during the summer. it was highly maintained and groomed. the facilities were clean. gravel roads/sites were mostly level. I did find our site a little tight to get into, I had to back up and pull in to get in straight. Overall, the park was very clean, quite and remote. No lights to spoil viewing the stars at night or hinder the light of a campfire.
