Excellent campground right in the city. Convenient to the National Monuments. Pricey but accommodations in Bend are expensive. The resort is kept clean. Not busy during the shoulder season.

  • Nice park, but stay away from sites near busy Brosterhaus Rd.

While this is the nicest private campground we’ve ever stayed in, we have never paid daily rates equal to what are charged here. This resort (they live up the title more than anywhere we’ve stayed) offers many amenities that we don’t usually and didn’t make use of, but I can imagine that for other campers, they might make the higher nightly cost acceptable.CV offers huge, paved, level FHU sites, and each includes curb side trash and recycling along with propane filling (their prices are very fair & less than I normally see when offered at a CG). We had more than enough room for our RV with garage access and a designated spot for our truck. Each site also includes a covered storage shed and patio chair/table set. The mature greenery is beautiful throughout, and while there isn’t much shrubbery/trees between sites, the sites are spaced far enough apart that camping feels somewhat private. Wifi is available, and while it worked okay, our Verizon was great without the booster. The CG offers tennis courts (including sports equipment), hot tub, small gym, large laundry, a few common areas (in and outdoor), and bath/shower facilities. There is a large dog run and plenty of space for walking pets around camp. The office staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating, and they did their best to keep things available and safe during COVID with sign-ups for the gym and hot tub and masks indoors. They also allow package/mail deliveries, repair services, and RV washing. The location is convenient for reaching Bend and the surrounding areas (driving, not walking). All of Bend including the neighborhoods surrounding this CG are expanding rapidly, so while the noise from construction and nearby roads was fairly consistent during the day, it was mostly absent in the evenings/at night. We occupied two different sites during our stay and that did have an effect on ambient noise (more traffic and construction), and oddly, our second site/row consistently saw less attention from staff for trash pick-up and overall grounds care. So while our overall experience was great, I can see where experiences may vary. In all we had a great stay at Crown Villa and would definitely stay here again if the monthly rate continues to be available.

On-site dog park nice. The town of Bend is incredible and has something for everyone. The resort itself has made a few changes which are good and bad. At one time they had a rule of no RV greater than 10 years old. This has been updated and the resort now accepts 'all ages'. A portion of the northeast part of the park during our visit was a bit less than one would imagine at a park that charges these rates with several cars at each RV. I feel the sites could be maintained/upgraded from their current gravel state and place a limit as to the number of cars. While there, a customer parked in that section went into the office and said, "I thought this was a resort!". When making reservations, request the premium or pull throughs in the back of the park for the most peaceful stay. Our site was good with easy access to office/laundry/restrooms. DO NOT take a site that backs to Brosterhous Road. Over the years the traffic on this road has increased and your outdoor time will not be as enjoyable as it should be.

This is our second time staying here. We love it. The sites are large, and most are a mix of sunny and shady. The campground is clean and the Premium sites are quiet. Lots of amenities that are all kept in pristine condition. Definitely upscale.

We found a pull thru site with plenty of room for the 42' 5th wheel toy hauler and the truck. Coming to the resort was interesting due to construction inside the resort and well as surrounding streets. But the good news is that the directions that the resort gave us in an email was very good and routed us right to where we needed to be. The site was clean and easy to pull into and out of with utilities very easy to access. There was a good amount of room between sites where you did not feel like you were on top of each other. The resort was well kept and in good shape even though there was some underground construction of water lines being installed during working hours. The resort made directions very clear about access points during construction to help with getting in and out of all areas as needed. Staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Don't know how much longer the construction will be taking, but I am guessing by May 2020 they will be done and out of the area. WiFi was hit and miss on connecting, but when we were able to connect, it worked well. No problems with any other utilities and resort staff would come around the park various times of the day and make sure things were kept clean and up to par. The sites were great in size with room for any size RV your want to take there. Sites were level and pavers were used on the actual site for your RV. There is height access (12' 10") restrictions on one of the roads leading to the resort, but the directions the resort gave to access the grounds was spot on. We will stay here again as the experience was very good, even with all the things there happening at the time of our trip.

We enjoyed the free coffee and hot tea in the lounge and popcorn in the office. The large brick pads are really nice as you don't feel so close to your neighbor. There is also a small storage shed at the end of your brick pad which was nice to store stuff our ladder, chairs and hose. You had both trash and recycling at our site. You just put it out when you wanted it picked up. That was super convenient. If you stay in November be prepared for freezing temperatures and even snow.

Sites are level pavers with a parking pad next to your site. Full hookups and all worked well. Storage unit, small table with 2 chairs. No Fire pits. WiFi worked like most RV parks, slow. FOLLOW the directions on the website or call for directions. GPS will not get you here. There is a low bridge. Even my RV GPS was taking me the wrong way. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the lack of things for kids. No playground, no pool, nothing. This might be designed for a reason. I would not stay here again only because I have 3 boys and they LOVE to explore campgrounds and meet other kids. This is more of an adult only park. So for couples its amazing place to stay, families with young kids, not so much.

Although it was very pricey, this was one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. Very pet friendly, super clean with large sites that are all on pavers with well kept grass around each one and it's close to downtown Bend. NOTE: If you have a taller RV, be careful because near this campground there's a road with a 12' 10" bridge.

Our first impressions were very positive, for a commercial campground the sites were quite wide and the mix of nice pine trees (that were trimmed high enough for big rigs) and the site pavers looked very nice. The underlying issue is the owners don’t have park evening activities managed and/or have changed their customer focus to stayers who live longer-term at the park, likely to increase their year-round revenue (for example, they have added numerous smaller gravel/dirt sites). My key issue is with the flow of people coming in and going out of the park until 2:30 am as well as people talking outside at 12:30 in the morning for over an hour, particularly when others cursed and screamed at them to be quiet a few times (with the latter being more of a concern, given the hostile tone of the screamer, than the rudeness of the people talking) – not what I expected, particularly in an expensive RV park. The park needs to figure out who it wants to market too and stay at the park, year-round/9-month stayers who have different life rhythms (e.g., they and their visitors coming and going until 2:30 am) or otherwise. Based upon our 2-week stay at this park, we will stay somewhere else the next time we are in the area.

Sites in the back have the most privacy. We were there during a busy weekend and got what was probably the worst site in the park at the end of the front row next to a housing development where construction went on all weekend long. Not the park's fault, but put a damper on our time there and made the price tag a little hard to swallow.

(And to be honest, I don't understand what all the levels even mean.) As others have mentioned, the sites are built with pavers and include a small shed in back. Our site was plenty long and wide enough for our 45 foot motorhome. The weird thing is they won't let you park your car on the pavers but a 47,000 lb motorhome is okay. There are various parking areas in the park but they are not assigned. There was one parking site between us and our neighbor, and it became a quiet challenge to see who could snag it first. They don't mention this at check-in, but you put your garbage in the trash bin on your site, and it is picked up on certain days. Again, as others mentioned the cable has issues and the hot tub was out of commission. Due to trees, our satellite couldn't find a signal either. The front desk staff are okay but obviously bored with their job. Their answers are short and to the point. We paid for extra nights and still received a knock on our door the next morning asking why we hadn't left. I think it is overpriced but it's the nicest park in Bend. I think they are well aware of that and use it to their advantage. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

And we couldn't get a spot at the nearby state park. This is more than we would normally pay for a park, but it is the Rolls Royce of RV parks, so we decided to treat ourselves. It is a few minutes drive from everything Bend has to offer. We cycled to nearby breweries and took pretty walks around nearby neighborhoods. The spots at the back of the park are quieter than those near the road but cost more. There are wonderful, huge, paved spaces, with a bistro type table and chair at each site. A newspaper is delivered to your site each day and the trash and recycling is picked up each day from your site. No Really! You can rent a storage locker at your site if you need it too. There is an on site gym, laundry, hot tub, recreation room, tennis/pickle ball court, firepits, bbqs, horseshoes and putting green. Even though this place was expensive it really sets a high watermark that all other RV parks should aspire to.
