We knew we would be pulling in after they had closed and they had a sign at our spot with our name on it which was very nice. We knew we were in the right spot! Beautiful view of the mountains. There was a really big dog run as well. Older rigs and some full timers that looked like they probably lived there full time. But still over all a nice place. Cons for us was that the stall for the restroom didn’t lock and I wouldn’t consider their restrooms plus size friendly.

Parameter roads and sites are sparse gravel and easy to maneuver. Our site, 30, was a reasonably level pull through and was long enough for our coach and towed. Services (30/50 power, water and sewer) were located mid site on the left. There was no Cable TV but we received strong OTA signals. We could not access the park’s included wifi but our Verizon Mifi worked well. Our site came with a table but no fire pit or patio. We were here three years ago and not much has changed. This is an older park and it could use some spiffing up. The landscaping is very blah. Get rid of the crappy, lumpy wanna be grass and put in a patio instead. The dog area was huge and fenced. It appeared that everyone picked up. There were a number of permanents and some units looked a little trashy but all in all the park served us well. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. We paid $38.08 with G S discount including taxes. We feel that the cost was fair and would return. We camped at A-Frame RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a great park and well located for an overnight winter stay as we traveled over the Blue Mountains. The owners were great and the view is beautiful. We had full hookups and were able to refill the propane tanks on site. We will stay here again when our path brings us back.

Staff was friendly, and we bought a good bottle of Pinot Noir from their camp store. The best part of this park was the dog run- basically a HUGE field- our dog had lots of room to chase her ball after a long day in the car. We would definitely stay here again.

I called and made a reservation before we hit the road and told the staff I would be there between 8:PM - 9:PM. They gave me perfect instructions for after hours check in and they put a welcome sign in front of our spot so we knew exactly where to park. It was really thoughtful and a nice touch for two very tired travelers. The park was quiet and peaceful. We made dinner and went straight to sleep. The dog park is huge and our puppies had the park all to themselves in the morning. The park is clean and has lots of trees. We will stay here often as we do this drive a few times a year. Highly recommend.

We had to wing it and change our route... called A Frame RV Park and was greeted by very helpful staff. I explained what we needed and they said they could accommodate us. Because we were going to be arriving after hours, they would leave a site map at the late check in podium with our name on it. Upon arrival, we grabbed site map, which we found had our site highlighted and how to get to it and exit also highlighted. When we were pulling into our 60’ pull through, there was a nice welcome sign up at the site welcoming us. The site was just long enough we didn’t have to disconnect our toad to fit. The park also had a great off leash dog area, which we took advantage of the next morning before departing to tire our two medium-large dogs out. We would definitely stay here again, should the need arise.

Served our purposes well, as we used as a base to do a Snake River jet boat trip in Hell’s Canyon (Hell’s Canyon Adventures, highly recommend). Pleasant office staff. Quiet location. And an excellent Verizon signal. Would definitely stay again when passing through Baker City on I 84.

This little park was a nice choice. Gave us a chance to do laundry (clean washers/dryers!) and to take a nice long hot shower and dump tanks. Sites are fairly shaded and the pull through was long enough to remain hooked up for the night. Grassy areas between each rig. Overall a decent place to get some rest. Very easy access off I-84 but far enough away not terrible road noise although there is some noise from the train but not bad.

We are parked in a nice gravel pull through under mature trees. Folks here are very nice. Found a great brew pub in town. A cute town that is interesting for a small town. Barley's Brown Brew pub has great beer and just a couple of miles from our rv site.

When you get there you'll know why, as the office is an a-frame shaped building and judging by the shape we guess the park might once have been a KOA. Access from the freeway is easy, but it's far enough off the road to be quiet. It was really nice, after a difficult day of driving through wind, rain and hail, to receive such a warm welcome by the lady in the office upon our arrival. She quickly helped us get settled in a pull through spot for the night. This is a small, older park with quite a few seasonal or long term residents, but things looked pretty well kept up and it appeared that the owners are busy making improvements to the park. Big, mature shade trees would be most welcome in the heat of the summer. Those of you looking for something to take back to friends or relatives back home will appreciate the cute little gift shop in the office. The restrooms are small and quirky, but freshly tiled and painted and very clean. Good showers with plenty of hot water, but although there are two shower stalls in the lady's room (and i assume in the men's), there is only one dressing area so you either have to wait your turn or not be shy. Those traveling with canine companions will appreciate the huge dog area which appears to be unfenced, although I did not check it out thoroughly to make sure of that. All in all this is a nice friendly little park that's good for a night or two while traveling through the area or seeing the surrounding sites. The Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, located just out of town, is well worth a visit.
