I love this place so much!I used to come here with my family as a young child & adult 50 plus years ago. I have not been here in ages, but coming back brings sweet fond memories. Electric & water for RV’s have now been added. They are doing renovations for bathrooms with showers. Activities to do besides camp is canoeing, rafting, kaiaking rental & fishing. The grounds are well maintained & being upgraded. The peace & beauty is well worth the price. I would stay for a long duration if I could. $18.00 a night for tent/car camping, $25 a night for RV. At least this is the cost offered at this time of writing this review. Picnic tables are provided, plenty of camp fire wood to pick up. The camp hosts, Travis & his wife Kaylann (not sure if spelling is correct) are fabulous hosts!! When we pulled evening Sunday, office was closed, but they spotted us & immediately came over to assist us. The escorted us the 1st site without a river view & then mentioned a river to us. We said yes, would def prefer the river view. They escorted us to the river view sight. Asked if grass length was good for us & if not they would bring tractor over & cut more down. Nope, was good enough. Asked if we wanted a picnic table, yes, so they brought one over to us. Paid with bank card. If we wanted to stay more than 2 days they would come back to collect or we could go to them. Super convenient! We didn’t have reservations, but just showed up. There was only one other camper (very quiet) next to us, but not to close at all. Relatively private. The camp hosts are such a wonderful couple. They go above & beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant, comfortable & safe. They work very hard to maintain & upgrade the grounds. They can assist you with your canoeing rental as well. Cell coverage is good 2 - 3 bars AT&T.Easy to find & access good. Road in wasn’t bad at all. Gravel/dirt, but short distance. Check this place out for yourself & enjoy nature. We had very little issues with mosquitoes, so made me & my brother’s stay pleasant (late April 2021). ????????????????????????????☘️☘️
