This is a small new park (started fall of 2019), the upper layer of the park seems to be for overnight and short stays, the spots aren't even marked yet. Bob the owner, owns the park and land around it. If you ask, he'll give you his family's "land rush" story. Very interesting story and quite a nice person. I pulled into the extremely narrow iron gates before I realized I could have gone down 50 yard to a nice wide entrance so be warned. The lower part of the park, closest to the lake, looks to be mostly full-time residents but it's not junky looking and is closer to the laundry building. The lake is very nice looking and there are benches and a nice swing if you care to site by it. The lawn is maintained nicely so it's easy to walk out there (see photo). The only amenity is a small building with 2 washers and 2 dryers (quarters $1.50 each) and a small single bathroom (with shower). Each site is gavel for the RV and mulch where you can park your car. Sites in the upper area, where I stayed, are facing one-way so you have lots of room, no other RV on the other side of the hookups. Full-hookups and new-looking utilities. Each site has concrete pad with a new small picnic table. You are in full sun with no trees. The best things about this campground are (1) no one knows about it yet so it's easy to get a spot, (2) it's Passport America so I paid $20/night, (3) it's incredibly quiet all the time. You are about 10 miles to any store you'd probably want. There aren't many bars on AT&T cell service but I'm not having issues streaming TV.
