Deadheading from Las Vegas, NV to Philadelpha, PA we needed a place to stop for the night to sleep, eat, and relax. We decided to take route 54 a 2 lane highway that does run through some small towns but over all a great way to go. There are campgrounds along the way but we decided to stay at Panhandle Campground. When we called the owner he was very helpful and very nice, giving us all the instructions we needed. We pulled in just before sunset and we sat in the front of our RV and enjoyed the view across the open field. The office was closed but the instruction were very clear. Slip and money in the envelope and popped it in the slot. Full hook ups and you pay for what you use. This was a very clean easy place to stop for the night. You are right on route 64 and you can hear the traffic but there wasn’t much so we slept very well. Everything You Need to Know There are 40 Flat gravel Pull Through sitesCan hold anything from a tent to a 40+ foot with tow carFull Hook Ups - pay for what you useBase price as of 2021 $12 for 2 people, $2 each for water, sewer, and/or electric 15, 30, and 50 Amp Easy In Easy Out we pulled our 40 ft RV with 11 ft car into the site Bathrooms and Showers available from May to September A small picnic area with BBQ grills, kids play set, and covered sitting areaFYI - GPS directions took us in front of the Walmart but it is actually 7 miles up the road on the left. Right off a country highway so lots of noise during the day, but much less at night. Campground was clean and everything is self check in. We did call ahead to make sure there was vacancy. The only downside is it appeared the Verizon cell tower was overloaded, because although we had 2-3 bars, it was SLOW even with a booster. Overall, would stay here again if it made sense. By the way, it is $3 additional per person (for over 2 people) per day, but this applies to adults only. Kids are not extra.

Needed a stop off after all day on the road (hwy 270 out of Woodward was no fun as road needs serviced bad) and generator problems. Only had 30 amp avail while I was here (50 being serviced) but that was still great. 36” class A with tow for 54” and they had room. Overall this is a nice place right off the road and room to maneuver.

The bathroom we didn't use since it's still COVID-19 time.

We only required an electric hookup since we’d just filled our fresh water tank and emptied our holding tanks when leaving a state park this morning. It was $14 for electric....would’ve been $12 if no hookups. I think it would’ve been an additional $2 for each add on (water, sewer). The sites are gravel with grass in between. Fairly level....required minimal blocks. Out of town about 7 miles in the country. Quiet spot.

Small campground 7 miles North of Walmart in Guymon. Google map sends you to an empty lot. Quiet with cows in the field outback. Bathrooms old, but clean. Nice overnight stop, but wouldn’t spend a week here.

Easy access off the highway. Spacious, level sites, grass and trees. Pull through Self check in. Highway noise was minimal, very quiet at night. The cows in the pasture behind was fun. Very clean. Restrooms nice. Would recommend for a night or two. Some long term residents because of their work. Perfect place for that.
