We stayed in a premium lakefront site. We had an unobstructed view of Grand Lake. We were unfortunately there after major flooding of Grand so the water was churned up with lots of debris. The facility itself was fantastic. It seems to be a work in progress so there was some construction but it absolutely did not take away from the experience. Upon arrival we were guided to our site. Shown all the hookups and welcomed. The sites each have beautiful landscaping with hanging flower baskets and hummingbird feeders with lots of the little guys buzzing around and fighting with each other which is hysterical. We ate dinner at the on site restaurant “The Pour House”. We had a reservation which I recommend because they are quite busy. The service is top notch. Food was excellent. All the kids raved about the Mac and cheese ???? They also will deliver food to your site which we used on Saturday night. Again fantastic. They have a 5oclock margarita cart that brings complimentary margaritas for the adults and lemonades for the kiddos. Really nice touch. The kids enjoyed the elevated swim spa which easily could of fit 15 people. Just a short stroll from our site. They have a small dog park and dog wash station. This facility does not have showers. The only thing this place could add would be a playground but we have younger children so that is something we notice. If you are traveling solo or without kids you wouldn’t even notice more than likely and might enjoy without the noise ????I highly recommend this place. Yes, it is expensive but the customer service and hospitality alone make it well worth it.
