Very small park. Sites are very close together, not very level, and not deep. Our 33 foot Class C took up the entire slot. We didn't even open our slides. Had to park toad in front of RV in the driveway, after we backed in. Hookups are in the rear of the site and are just connections sticking out of the ground. It was kind of hard to tell which connections were ours. It had rained for days prior to our arrival and it was very muddy! Had the site host not been welcoming, pleasant and helpful we would not have stayed. We will not stay here again.
Convenient to Tulsa, Verdigris, and points north

I first contacted the campground via email to arrange for a stay over the Christmas holiday. (I stayed at Mingo the previous year and thought I'd try this RV park since it was closer to family.) Both Hunter and Regan were very nice. They offered a $35 holiday special rate but the website didn't reflect that so we settled over the phone with a deposit. I had originally selected a site on the east side (34-44) but was advised those sites were not in great shape. Indeed, once we arrived those sites appeared to be deep gravel and located at the low point in the campground and things were wet, so yeah, that would have been a nightmare. The remaining 3 rows (about 11 sites in each) are on very broken up asphalt on a grade, so leveling was an issue. The sites were narrow and due to the snow and subsequent thaw, the grassy areas between them were rather muddy. The electricity was ok, but the water was close to the ground, just a PVC pipe if I recall. The sewer on the other hand was 6 inches high and for the most part, located in the center rear of the site. So there was room for improvement there. The park was not very full but about 10 or so sites were occupied with long-term tenants, but it didn't feel like a trailer park. BUT, those issues aside, the campground was pleasant and quiet aside from road noise (it didn't bother us inside), and conveniently located for Tulsa, Broken Arrow, the Turnpike, etc. The onsite host was very nice and on New Years Day they provided a small goody bag which was a thoughtful touch. While the parking lot may not have changed much (it used to be a tavern), the playground, dog park, office, and grounds were nicely done. The casino, Walmart, many other big box stores are just across the highway via an underpass and the Blue Whale on Route 66 just a few miles further north. Overall, I'd was certainly happier paying $35 vs $40 but they were so nice and accomodating, I'm giving them 4 stars since it was Christmas. Being in a metro area, cellular was OK with both AT&T and T-Mobile at 20-30 down and 15-20 up.
