The KOA workers are the friendliest we ever met. They were so outgoing and just seemed genuinely happy. The sites were very generous in size and pretty level. Most are gravel, a few are paved. They are constantly doing improvements and working on making the park better. There is a pool, a big dog park, walking trails- one leading to a coffee shop that is delicious, lots of yard games and activities, and a playground. The bathrooms were kept very clean. It is on the expensive side, but still probably the best option for this whole area! ~10 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes from downtown.

Stayed in cabins 93-95 with Girl Scouts. Cabins were really cute and clean. All sites appeared really well maintained and clean. Nice and quiet. Minimal road noise. Delicious coffee and bagels walking distance.

Nice KOA with clean bathhouses. Our site had electric and water. Just like most KOA’s, each campsite is very close to each other. We liked our site because it backed up to some ponds that they had put aerators i. So we had the sound of falling water. Even though this is off a Main Street it is very quiet.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The laundry room, bathroom and grounds were very clean. Great place to stay and close to groceries and downtown Wilminton.

Being a KOA park says a lot. Best point is that the facilities were clean. Just here one night, so we weren't "eligible" for a better site.

This was a lovely KOA. Clean bathrooms (essential when your rig doesn't have one). We stayed at a patio site with a fire pit, metal furniture, and grill. It was immaculate. The staff were great as well. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Good, not the best value for the money.

Not all park facilities were used.Opinion: Many young family campers. Wilmington can experience heavy rain and results in much standing water around sites. This park deserves high ratings in all areas except one, the price. Not exceptional for the money.

We paid $50 for a single night stay. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Stayed in site 6. It was a bit on the shorter side but we were able to hang off the back with our 5th wheel just fine.Roads are recently paved and easy enough to maneuver around. The campground is located back from the main highway behind a gas station and car wash. You can hear a bit of street noise but during the night we didn't hear much.We had an issue we needed to repair on our trailer in the morning and they were gracious in letting us have a late check-out so we could make the repair.

There is a large service station directly behind the campground on 17 that services 18 wheelers so if you are anywhere near that side of the campground, you will feel like you are camping on the interstate. It is loud until around 10pm. That made sitting outside impossible. The location is a short drive to the beach. Staff is very nice. They have a typical KOA store that serves coffee, smoothies and some food items. Laundry, Showers (that you need a code to get in). Given the location, I would have liked to see an entry gate with a code and a bit more security around the perimeter. I would lock up everything. Site was mostly level. Needed some side to side leveling..
Pricey like most KOAs but this one is almost worth the money

We were pleasantly surprised despite the typical high price tag. The staff is among the best of any campground we’ve stayed. They are very friendly and yet professional. You leave your trash by your site, and someone dutifully comes along and picks it up. The only issue was that the squirrels were very curious and would pick apart the trash if it wasn’t picked up quickly. There is fair spacing between sites but not all are easy to get in/out for big rigs due to trees and other obstacles. We barely fit with our 45 footer and had to park the toad sideways. When we left, we had to back out of our pull thru site and hook up the car in one of the interior roads. The site was fairly level requiring mostly side to side adjustments. The premium sites appear best for larger rigs. The interior roads and sites are the dreaded crushed white rock base. Your vehicles and your feet will attract the chalky stuff. I will never understand (except for cost I assume) why any campground would use this stuff. There is some noise from the very busy Market Street – more or less depending on your site location. The WII FI actually worked (gasp), and worked decently enough. We couldn’t use our satellite due to trees; however, they have cable. Verizon coverage was 4g 2 bars. We would stay again due to close proximity to family, the beaches, and downtown Wilmington.
Small, quiet and close to downtown.

There was little privacy where we were, but the site was level and spacious. Some sites even had patios with patio furniture and a BBQ (for more $). There is a little store, TV area, and laundry room. The laundry facility was great. There is a pool with the bathhouse beside it (attached, as well, to the laundry/office/store, these are the only toilets/showers). The bathhouse was nice and clean. There is also an self wash car and RV wash just outside the campground gate.We spent our days downtown in Wilmington, and it is an easy drive from the KOA. We didn't go to any of the beaches, since we were there in bad weather, and there were many beach hazard warnings and a lot of coastal flooding. As a side note, definitely don't miss visiting the USS North Carolina battleship!
