Everything here was perfect! We stayed at site 173. Everything was well maintained and cleaned. Family friendly. The kids LOVED the golf cart parade after dark. This has been our favorite campground to date!

Nice little store, immaculate sites, everything well maintained and clean. The hot tub next to the upper pool is wonderful. The lake is beautiful! The water is hard and has a bit of a smell right out of the faucet, but nothing detectable after the first filter. Lots of 50 amp sites and there's hardly anyone in our section (getting on towards end of season). There's a farmers market and IGA down the road, along with a well stocked Ace Hardware. If I wanted a northern TT/Encore get-away for the summer, this would be on the short list. There is, of course, the obligatory rail road, but it doesn't appear to be highly used and far enough away so only the lightest of sleepers will likely notice. The highway isn't very close so that's not an issue either.Cell service is great (I'm running everything off of my Verizon router this week), and while I had no need, they appear to have a very good pay WiFi system. TV reception/choice is decent, but nothing amazing.

  • Gorgeous Park! One of the nicest we've seen!

That being said, we would pay full price to stay at this gorgeous park at least once. The park staff is very friendly and the activities calendar was packed. There are two well appointed pools and plenty of well maintained play areas for the kids. This is a full service, active resort and the owners clearly understand the value of maintaining their property. The lake is beautiful and the boat ramp is well appointed (although parking is a bit of a challenge). The sites are easy to get into/out of and they are level and good sized. Utilities were in good shape and the power was clean. There are lots of long-term rigs in place and this park is clearly a 'go too' weekend get-away. But, unlike most parks, there were still lots of sites available that had great views of the lakes.

  • Lovely, large campsite right on the lake.

We watched the sun set over the lake by the fireside. The site was level with a wooden deck right outside our door. There was a small camp store, two pools and a laundry.

We are SO glad we joined The Trails Collection from Thousand Trails because we got to stay at this park for free (normally over $55 per night). FHU sites, 50 amp, lots of space on each site (at least 4-5x the width of our RV in each site). Backing into our spot was a bit tricky since someone right across was leaving, but we got it worked out and it was great.2 pools and the top pool is more kid friendly. Big playground, a lake, and other fun stuff for the family. Seems to be quite a few full time people here with even some areas set aside for that, but all VERY well kept up. The laundry near the upper pool was really small (3 washers and 4 dryers) so maybe there was another laundry, but this seems really small for a park this size. We were able to get stuff cleaned, but just the size would worry us in the really busy season or if we came on a weekend.Small town nearby had plenty of stuff in it within under 5 miles. We look forward to another visit here.
