One pool empty, the other pool, lets say, didn't look inviting. Camp store had ice and firewood, that was it. All shelves empty and dirty. Receptionist claimed COVID caused, from not knowing if anyone would be using facility. We made reservation in January for July. Ohio COVID restrictions were lifted the beginning ig June, plenty of time to TIDY up before the season. Reception desk cluttered with papers. We checked in at 2:30pm, at 6:30 pm got a call asking if we still planned on coming. Restrooms and showers clean but very worn. Our cabin faced what by the looks of it was intended to be a large open shelter with lighting. Instead it is filled with broken equipment, a huge lawn sweeper, piles of lumber non functioning golf cart and assorted junk. Wonderful view. Grass was cut, overall the grounds look nice, the buildings need attention, gravel drives have many mud holes and standing puddles. If you have seen the photos on their website, you will be greatly dissappointed.

Overall, this campground was pretty average. The benefit was it's location and access off the main road. We have a 40' fifth wheel and initially they put us in a very tight spot and we could not back in with a tree at either side of the entry points and 1 directly across from us. So we asked to move, and they moved us to a much more open site. All sites were grass (which really stunk since it rained much of the time we were there). We had full hook-ups for 50amp at site 48 and it was right across the road from the 1 pool. It advertises 2 pools, but at this time, the 2nd pool was empty. The pool was not heated...so very chilly. This campground is very tight for bigger rigs to drive around. As far as the price, I think it is extremely high for what the campground has. It is a Passport America campground and that's the reason we chose it because were able to stay there for about $40 a night. If you are not a Passport America member and also going to CedarPoint, I would probably stay at CedarPoint and do their campground package. Overall, it would be ok to stay again or okay for a stop over. We give it 3 stars.

The camp site was on a grass surface, the water pressure and AC power at the site was good. The sewer hook up was okay, a pipe below the surface with a plug. The site was very shaded. The bad, the park is very close to a highway off ramp, it was loud with jack brakes and harleys all night. The shower house, it was clean and had plenty of warm water, but it is on par with a shower house at a scout camp. very little privacy, cement floors and block walls.Full price would have been far to expensive for this campground.

This Campground has the KOA feel without the price! The lots are closer together than I would like but they are still nice. I did water and electric only, and used the bath house showers. I spoke with the owner a few times, he is a nice man and very helpful. There is a cat that was wondering the campground the entire time we stayed there, If you see him, we have unofficially named him Steve, he likes to find shade and lay in it and hopes you provide him with food.

There were a lot of puddles and mud when we were there even though it didn’t rain during our stay. The power boxes, water and sewer are at the back of your site so make sure to have long hoses and cords. We mostly just slept here and spent the days in Cedar Point so did not take advantage of the amenities but they had pools, pedal carts, bunnies, pancake breakfasts, karaoke and more. The camp store also sells firewood and other basics. There are a lot of tent campers and people staying in the cabins and a lot of kids running around- quiet hours seemed to be nonexistent during our stay. The bathrooms/showers have seen better days but are functional.I’d recommend getting a pull thru spot as they are on the edge overlooking a field and have a little more privacy and view.

Second generation owner who’s father planted a lot of trees which made the temperature cooler. Difficulty maneuvering into some sites. Most sites are grass, lots of cabins and two pools. Close to Cedar Point without the high prices. Enjoyed our stay

Large play area for kids, two pools that were standing room only, more cabins than I've ever seen.No cable and must spots probably can't get satellite because is the trees. Antenna reception hit and miss but ok.WiFi good. They have all you can eat pancakes everyday for$4.50.
