  • Make sure you wear your USA flag clothing, and the red hat that has M##A on it to fit in.

We stayed 7 nights, the park was ok. Lots of summer camps, with trailers that have been there a while. Lots of people wearing clothing with flags, overly patriotic if you get my drift. The "lake" in not swimmable, unless you are a frog. The water is undrinkable, as it has a lot of iron in it. Turned our sinks and toilets orange. If you...moreWe stayed 7 nights, the park was ok. • Nice spot on lake- lots of full timers

The staff was very helpful and nice.We work full time so internet was critical for us. We work off of AT&T hotspots, and the service here was very fast. Average speed test was 100mb+ download and 10mb+ upload. We had no service issues at all. Lots of full timers here, all of which were friendly. There is an area on the lake that dogs are encouraged to go in, but no fenced in area. The dog area is adjacent to the front gate, so less than ideal with cars coming and going. A fenced in dog area would have been nice, but overall a really nice spot.

  • Delightfully quiet on a lovely lake

We arrived at 7:30pm and the keycard was left for us in an envelope along with a map annotated with our site and a receipt. The campground is nicely maintained, many trees, and not too crowded. We had a site nicely separated from the RVs that appear to be parked there for a whole season. Wonderful beach, great children’s play facilities, adequate restrooms & showers. Our site had full hookup. All sites had a picnic table and fire ring.
