Most of this park is set aside for longer term rentals, but they take good care of short stay folks. There is a swimming pond, and fishing location along with basic playground (with very cool tractor tires) and a bouncing pillow. The camp hosts lots of activities on weekends in the summer and is only minutes from Nickel Plate Beach and the town of Huron. The Huron River trail crosses the park, so it is easy to connect with for a nice hike. Hookups are 30/50 Amp and water, but they offer pumpout service and there are 2 dump locations as well. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helped make our stay comfortable and fun. About the only caution is that the driveways are narrow and winding, but we had no issues maneuvering our 39 foot rig to our site. We had to go past it to get to a flat spot to disconnect the toad, then it was just backing up around the corner and into our site. The swimming hole is well cared for and a rope separates shallow from deep sections. Kids found turtles and fish in the river just beyond and had a blast.
