Frontier Campground is a quiet little slice of heaven to get away for some peace and quiet. They only accept monthly reservations ($500/month) which we appreciate as this keeps out the "weekend party" folks and keeps that atmosphere calm and relaxing. My husband and I have spent many nights here and look forward to many more. It is close enough to modern conveniences yet far enough to vacation. The park is full of beautiful, mature trees that provide ample shade at all the sites. We highly recommend a stay at this wonderful little campground!

We paid $475/month + electric. This was the first spot we stayed at with our new huge camper where we had to pay electric - yikes! I'm fairly convinced we got ripped off $237 for one month... Anyhow, gravel roads, mostly gravel sites, decent size spots, long enough for big rigs but a little tight to back into unless you get one of the few pull-thrus. Only one gentleman owns and maintains the place, and this shows in the landscaping and playground area. He could use some help but he makes an effort. He is very vigilant about who comes and goes in the park. There is a pool and showers (which are closed in the winter). There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. There are cabins and tent sites. Mostly seasonal local campers that come in on the weekends. Around 45minutes from Cincinnati and 40minutes from Dayton.
