We stopped at this campground on our way to the Triangle Metro. It is literally just right off I40 North bound. The campground is around the lake where RVs are park quite close to one another with the tent sites at the far end across the beach area. Swimming and paddle boat rentals are by the beach to the right of the office. We were given hand written paper receipt with a vehicle tag. No map or list of amenities. We were also told to keep or pittie mix pet dog mostly inside our riig for insurance concerns.(*Sigh) But don't expect the layout to be straight forward because it was confusing when we first got in. Seems like the campground got bigger with little planning and skimpy budget.Some cabins seemed like it grew bigger from long term renters with accumulated stuff.
