Just a few miles off I-40, this campground is terrific. Great service, big campsites that are well maintained and level. I’m not typically a fan of private RV parks but this one is a gem.

That's what we were wondering when we booked her but it was a great experience. This little town is beautiful and I spills over into this campground. Its close enough to everything but far enough away tucked in the hills that it is super quiet. The grounds themselves are well laid out, roads wide enough for big rigs and spots large enough for our 44' 5th wheel with back porch down and truck parked in front. See the video tab above for a better overview of the campground!

Full hookups throughout the park except for one site does not have sewer. WIFI good for emails, browsing the internet. T Mobile has 5 G coverage. They have fire rings and picnic table. There is no swimming pool or lake. Lots of open area to walk your dogs. ”Lots of trees. Very helpful and friendly staff. They use contactless check in but still made us feel very welcomed. The park is beautifully landscaped with flowers and blooming bushes throughout the park – not jus the entrance. The park is very well maintained in all areas. The site without sewer is the same cost as the full hook ups. It does have more privacy as it overlooks the woods. The only negative was when we arrived there were beer cans and cigarette butts in the fire pit.

While this didn't affect our internet we did experience problems with phone calls. My understanding is that Verizon recently sold or lease part of it's local network to local businesses which resulted in the loss of bars from previous reviews. the good:-some of the nicest wooded sites I have ever seen in a private campground and even many state campgrounds.-excellent wi-fi, better than anything I have ever seen.-Level site pads and well maintained access roads, really nice not to have to deal with ruts.-friendly helpful staff-despite having a high long term population, sites weren't allowed to look "trashy" and in fact several had nicely decorated their site.-lots of birdhouse meant lots of birds.the not so good:-only one bathhouse at the front of the property, so plenty of people driving to the bathhouse especially early in the morning(probably getting ready for work).-bathhouse appear to be on the small side for the number of sites.(two stalls in men's) so there were times there wasn't one available-not all of the sites are wooded and some of the ones back in the long term area are close together as is more typical of private campgrounds.-picnic tables and fire rings appeared to be often not be placed well. Uneven ground for the picnic tables and below low hanging trees for the fire rings.-large field with stored rv's visible near office. Not that I have a problem with campgrounds storing rv's but a little screening from view would have been nice. Some of the stored rv's were a little rough looking as is common at storage facilities.the bad:-while they weren't allowed to get disgusting, it was clear that the toilets weren't cleaned every day. The trash appeared to get emptied daily and the sinks might have been wiped down. But it was obvious that the toilets didn't get daily attention. All in all a pretty good campground that I would stay at again. A few tweaks and it could be a great campground.

We've been on the road since October 1 and have stayed at half a dozen parks, and this one is definitely the nicest park so far! We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to see how lovely this park is for only $40 a nite. The access off the interstate is easy, the location is a short drive to many amenities. All the sites are desirable. We were very happy to be in site 19, in between two long term campers who each had their sites landscaped to look like "home". Sitting outside our rig we felt like we had our own private yard with the huge, beautiful trees separating us from our neighbor. The grounds are well taken care of, clean and well laid out. Our site was more then long enough for our 38' travel trailer and our 20' F250. There is a lot of grassy areas, with a nice play ground and a lovely picnic shelter.

On the way there we were called and told where to pickup our registration/info packet and directions to our site. This is one of the most beautifully landscaped parks we have stayed at. We had a mixture of trees at our site (most are like this) which was level gravel. My impression is that most sites are occupied by seasonal campers which consist of large newer rigs and both retirees and the working class. Their sites are beautifully decorated. The people were friendly. For those who like to party, this park is not for you. No public display of alcohol is allowed and no alcohol allowed off your site. This is a quiet park that caters more to couples with pets or with small kids who are easily entertained. We would stay again.

As another reviewer wrote, the hook-ups are more towards the front of the site, but it wasn't an issue. Site 32 even had a nice 2-person swing at it so you can relax in the evening in front of the fire pit. It was very nice.

The interior roads are tight for larger rigs towing but doable. We had to do some fancy footwork to get into our site without unhooking the tow. It is predominately long term and/or seasonal. All sites are neat and tidy though. Most sites are surrounded by trees but there are a few that have more sun. All sites looked close to level if not spot on level. There is decent spacing with some better than others. We had trees between us and the next site. Directv locked on but there was lots of interference to the point that we just stopped watching. We could not get WII FI in our site. Verizon was 4g 3 bars so we used our hotspot. It was quiet at night, and we would stay here again.

The park is just 2 years old, and the owners are committed to making it the best it can be. Full hook-ups on every site, a comfy community room, and what my husband describes as the most beautiful bathroom ever. Their caretaker, Jim, was very helpful when we were trying to figure out a problem. The only reason I gave the site quality 4 stars is because they're close together, with no privacy. Our nightly rate was with Good Sam's discount.

The sites are gravel and very level (we didn't need any leveling blocks), the internet was great and we got a ton of stations just from the antenna.
