Sites are clean and level. Good base camp for exploring the surrounding area. On-site cafe food was good and a great value. The campground has two sections. One is a rally grass field which has full hook ups and the other is your standard RV concrete full hookup sites.

  • This was a horrible experience

They have gotten progressively worse. This year, 8 sites were completely dead with the sites we stayed on suffering from low voltage and frequent breaker trips. The campground management was on the 6th (yes sixth) manager in the past 2 months (this was shared with by the service employees). We were assured multiple times the power line would be replaced before we arrived this year (and it was obviously not). Further, I had issues with inconsiderate fellow campers whom least a dog dedicate in front of my site. There are specific rules in the campground prohibiting walking dogs anywhere except in the dog park. The point is there was no management over site or support during this rally. On the plus side, the public bathrooms were cleaned regularly. I did not use the public showers.

Wonderful park in a good location. Around good sightseeing. Clean park and a Camping World next door.

It has level sites that accommodate big rigs. There are two sides to the campground, one has paved sites with about 10’ of space between campers. The other side is their rally site which is open and grassy. Most sites have full hook up on both sides. No issues with trying to park around trees on either side. If you are on the rally sites, if there is a lot of rain, I could see some of them being soft, but the weather was nice for us. The WIFI was spotty and not consistent. Cell reception was great. We stayed on the rally sites. There were not a lot of campers, so there was plenty of room between sites. There is a service facility on site and Tom Johnson’s Camping World there as well. There is a breakfast/lunch cafe in the main building. We love the area, it is close to mountains and things to do. We will be back

But, it also takes anyone traveling through. This is what we were.Showers are attached to registration building, behind it is service garages. Also in the same building is a small restaurant open for breakfast and lunch with great prices. For example, one egg $1.25 and cheese .25. Everything is ala cart We were here in mid September when it was cool, but there is no shade so is probably pretty hot in the summer.Nice, flat and level spaces, made of concrete with the driveway portion blacktop. All sites are back-in, but if you can’t get in one of these, you have no business in any RV!

Good location. Clean and well cared for. Basic hookup work well. No TV signal. Internet from campground wasn’t usable.

However they were most accommodating of our 1994 Gulf Stream. We able to chose our site we choose one by the river. It was peaceful and quiet. They had the most wonderful showers there. Each stall had a door and a dressing room and tiled. Lots of water pressure and plenty of hot water. My husband and I still talk about the great showers they had..
