It is a beautiful park. Everything is so pristine and easy to get to. The gate people treat you like you have been here a hundred times. They are nice but assume you know where everything is. Verizon isn’t great and I couldn’t get T-Mobile to connect.

The bait store was closed the entire time we were there (two days), but otherwise we enjoyed paddleboarding, walking, and bike riding. It was a very quiet park with friendly folks staying all around. Lots of family activity happening considering schools were out when we visited. Definitely will stay here again.

I love this place! It’s close enough for a weekend getaway and fairly secluded. The campground is clean and very well maintained. Most sites have a water view. My site was just accredits for the Pierre which gave me an extra special view and a pier to go meditate or do yoga on.

  • We loved it here!

Beautiful campground surrounding a lake! Sites along water have wooden deck (some of these have easy access to lake; others are on a bit of a hill). Many sites in the trees -- rustic but beautiful!! We were in site #1 with a 42' 5th wheel with plenty of room. Campground store clerk was outstanding!! My husband loved the 18-hole disc golf course. Kayak/canoe rental available. Great for riding your bike (a few of the hills were a challenge for this "senior"). We've already booked our return for next year!
