This beautifully landscaped campground is very peaceful. The grounds are impeccably landscaped. Most trailers and tiny homes there are permanent. The rental sites are by the river. Mostly shady, each site has a fire ring, electricity and water. The bathrooms and showers are the cleanest I've ever used. They have a swimming pool and coin laundry too! Pets are allowed. Verizon service was non-existent; although occasionally a text would come through. Usually no service or 1x extended service.

  • Beautiful setting with wonderful people. It was like going back in time.

This private campground is very LGBT friendly. It had the feel of a family campground being quiet and safe. The community lodge was comfortable and offered a large dvd library for use of the guests. The showers and bathrooms were beautiful and spotless. There is also a nice, big pool. Blowing Rock is an awesome town, close by, and only a 20 minutes drive up a winding gravel road. When booking a reservation it might take a couple days for a call back because there is no official office. Also, it is very important to not drive to this campground from the north if pulling an RV. Follow the directions on the website and not the GPS. Cell coverage is poor. Most texts would not go through and my hotspot did not work at all while at our campsite.
