This is a small campground with good basic amenities and very clean. The sites are on gravel, fairly small, and most have a fair amount of slope. We were able to level, but you have to work at it a bit. It's on a busy road, and the road noise is pretty loud. That said, we would recommend it as a base camp for exploring the surrounding area. Great proximity to many restaurants, hiking, and mountain communities. Asheville, Biltmore, and Smoky Mountain National Park are only 30-40 minutes away. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

Gravel pads with slight slopes (easy enough to overcome) and perfectly adequate, clean bath houses. Pool is a fair hike/short drive from the campsites and the road noise can be loud at times. Overall though, a decent value for the area.
