Love the pier and the fishing and the quiet. Locals are friendly the previous photos are more than 5 years old. Sandy point improves every year.

We visited the site before we had planned a long weekend there. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. The sites were not even close to level, and the grounds were old and tired. We ended up booking at a Campground right next door that is under a major overhaul. But even with construction, it was a whole lot better than Sandy Point. We also met a few other campers that had booked here but ended up next door.
