It seems much nicer back there, probably because it’s harder to access for outsiders. The sites are decent, hookups we’re good, they allowed us to extend 1 night without issue, and it was close to many things. The back pool is also pretty nice and wifi was ok for the most part.Second, I say beware because your things WILL get stolen here. Management has made it very clear they know peoples things get stolen, especially laundry, but they have no codes or locks on the doors at all. There is no gated entry either, and the park is not in a good area. Our laundry was stolen and other people we talked to said they had their RVs broken into and laundry stolen as well. There was also a shooting 5 minutes away where 5 people were shot, apparently that’s a regular occurrence. Also beware of the noise! I typically don’t care about road noise, but the airplane noise was unbearable. They go ALL night long and they’re landing from directly overheard so they are close and loud. The train noise didn’t bother us. They also only have 10 washing machines for 700 some RV spots and trailers. Makes no sense. Not the worst stay we’ve ever had, but absolutely not worth the price or the risk to your things.

It is clean, neat, well kept, well run, and the staff is mostly friendly.Unfortunately, there are a number of things that became maddening during our stay:1) Highway noise. The park sits right on I-95 and the noise from the highway is 24 hours a day constant. It never lets up. After 34 days of listening to this, it went from being a nuisance, to outright torture! 2) The 5:00am Train. Not as bad as the highway noise as the tracks are pretty far away. It did wake me a couple of times, but usually I was already awake when I happened to hear it.3) Airplanes overhead. The park is in the flight pattern for JAX. This is usually only a problem during the day.4) More Airplanes. I mention this simply because there are commercial aircraft. . . and then there are military fighter jets. The military jets are unbelievably loud!!! While I thought watching the fighter jets fly over was fun at first, that "fun feeling" went away after about the third fly-over. The worst part, there is no place to get away from it. They are loud inside the RV, and almost unbearably loud - I mean painful - outside the RV.5) Crazy, Erratic Play Ground lights - could someone tell me how to turn these off/on. They were very bright, which is good if you're on the playground, but these lights would flip off and on all night for no apparent reason. They appeared to be on a motion sensor, but I could never detect where the sensor was, or what was was setting it off. There would be no one at the playground, then the lights would suddenly come on. Conversely, there were times when Mom's and kids were there, and the lights would just randomly go out.So let's talk about the good:1) The place is very well kept and very neat.2) Staff is very friendly. Only recall coming across one guy that appeared to be having a bad day, but hey. . . we all have those.3) Bathrooms, Showers, and Laundry were all top notch and kept very clean. BTW. . . if your dog happens to have an accident on your bedspread, the laundry at the front of the park has an oversized commercial washer and dryer. Bonus, all the Washers/Dryers can be paid for with a credit/debit card. No hauling coins.4) Flexible Enforcement of the rules. - like many private RV parks, this place has more than there fair share of rules. Normally I'm not a fan of this it tends to promote the RV Park equivalent of Gladys Kraviftz. A self appointed rules enforcer. Here they take a more measured approach, and I saw no heavy handed enforcement. However, flexible enforcement can be a mixed blessing. While it made for a more relaxed atmosphere, it also meant they weren't very good at enforcing the "Pick-up after your Pet" rule. As a dog owner, this is a huge peeve of mine. 5) Great location - The park is close enough to the city of Jacksonville, and a short drive into southern Georgia, and just a short run to Amelia Island. In fact, I will most certainly return to this RV Resort, and the Location is the primary reason why. It is close to the things I want to be close to. . . Grand Kids! :) (Please note: Nightly $ is based on a monthly rate. Normal Nightly rate is $54 without discounts).

Super friendly staff! Was greeted warmly and they helped with some packages that showed up early! While the campsites are a little noisy from the highway, everything is super clean and nicely laid out. Just started our visit, so will update if anything changes.

We found an empty site of the same type a few spaces down and hooked up there. The next day they called us back to say that they had assigned us to the wrong site, and had actually assigned us to a more expensive site than we had reserved. They then gave us the choice of packing up and moving to the less expensive site, or paying the higher rate. Would have been nice to be allowed to stay where we were for the original rate since it was their mistake, but no. We didn't feel like moving (it was raining) so that's how we ended up paying $90/night.The sites were level and clean concrete pads. Easy access to/from I-95, and within range of Uber Eats (had some good BBQ from a place called Bono's.)INTERNET: T-Mobile excellent (125 down; 25.8 up); AT&T Okay (11.5down; 6.52up); Campground wifi numbers were terrible (Ping 1009; 0.89 down; 0 up) but Zoom calls seemed to work well.

There are some things that they simply cannot change that make this a somewhat challenging experience. They are directly under the flight path to the airport and right on the interstate. This makes access easy, but noise is an issue and can vary greatly depending where your site is in the park. Be aware that if you are in sites 1-37, you are on a road that is the ONLY road to get into and out of the RV Park. So everyone that comes or goes, goes down this street. There are many long-term/permanent residents who drive very fast down this street. I work from the RV and would watch the same trucks go fast every day down that street. I would highly encourage anyone to choose a site down one of the pull-thru streets instead. The new section of the RV Park is very nice. But I would only recommend being in the back rows. The other roads have significant highway noise and the back-in sites are very close together in the back of the sites. The distance between sites is good, but you are back-to-back.The location of this RV Park is great for visiting Amelia Island which was our main reason for staying here as we have family there. With all of that being said, the facilities are very nice. Although it was too cold when we were there, the pool areas looked very nice and the restrooms and showers were extremely clean. Our site was level and all utilities worked as they should and were easy to access.Check-in was easy and the staff in the office were all very nice. The dog parks are great and I liked that they had separate sections. There were dog-poop stations located throughout the park which we appreciated. They occasionally had food trucks come into the park and we had dinner from one of them which was fantastic. What a great perk!Overall, we had a good experience here and would come back again.

We pulled off here on our way south. Was very clean, open. It rained in the morning so we didnt use the pool. Walked next door to flea market, which was big but mostly new cheap stuff, not antiques like we like. Did have a fruit stand there so bought a few things there. Also a few DVD movies and tools for camper.

All the sites look the same and the rows are straight. We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it looked new and well maintained. Not the best value, for two nights, but friendly, neat and clean. Long term sites had tastefully personalized them.

A huge flea market is next door that you can have access to on the weekends. Only ding, but not really, is that park is near airport and planes fly over but stops during evening. Also good wifi. No trash dumpsters but employees pick up your trash daily by 10:30 so you leave by street ( who does that anymore?)

We had to move the RV to Jacksonville on very short notice due to emergency surgery for our dog, and we picked this because it had a Passport America rate for one night, but we did end up staying too. The good: All pull-through sites. All sites are paved and very large, with full hook-ups. Very easy access on/off the interstate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, well maintained grounds. The negative: No shade. It was pretty hot when we were there, so we couldn't sit outside and had to run our A/C a lot. There are lots of ant hills, some with what appeared to be poison on them, so we had to be careful walking our dogs. There are a lot of permanent residents here, with decks attached to their RV, but all in very good shape. The flight patterns from JAX run right over the park, so lots of airplane noise, starting at about 5:30 in the morning. For a one or two night stay, this place is perfectly fine. Not sure that I would be interested in staying longer than that, unless I had a reason to be in the area. There is also a flea market right next door that is owned by the same people. It only operates on the weekend so we didn't get to go, but it looked like it was a pretty big one.
