You can't see the beach from your campsite but you can hear the waves and smell the salt air. There is no shade, grass or comfortable place to relax so just stay here if you are seeking a day or two at the beach and don't mind paying $70 (cash) per night. This is the kind of place where you just have to focus on the good parts or you will feel depressed staying in an unkempt glorified parking lot. Focus on the beach! Bring your cushiest beach chairs, softest towels and coldest beverages. I hope your RV has great AC if you are parking in the summer months because there is zero shade.

Definitely a place where we would stay again, because you can't beat the location! The park also had what we wanted and expected. Located in the beach side of the main road, right behind the dunes.RV park in what appears to be the middle of Holden Beach among some really nice beach cabins. Park is very small, and we were thankful for the spot we had, which we thought was a driveway. The power is good. Water and sewer hookups compensated for the lack of bathhouses. Not sure about laundry, because we didn't need it.This place is for those who want beach access, because this is no swanky resort. Lots of families frequent this spot and everyone here has been extremely friendly.Pets are welcome here. Location is bike friendly, with sidewalks adjacent to the main road where pedestrians and bikes share the sidewalk. No WiFi or cable, but we did catch around 20 channels with our HD antenna.
