This was the most expensive place I stayed on a trip between New England and N. Carolina. It’s open year round and just off the Interstate. Helpful staff, well kept bathroom facilities and laundry. Good WiFi.

First time traveling in colder weather and it was cold, 24 degrees at night. The staff here was very nice and friendly, got us close to the bathroom ( which very nice and clean ). Pull though sites for travelers, let them know ahead. Only draw back was the noise at night from the highway.

Some sites not level. Lots of sites available! Trees. Gravel lanes and campsites. Next to a freeway, but at our site cannot hear it. The GPS doesn’t get you all the way to the park, it is not on Amber Lane. (But close)

Staff was great, pool was nice but other than that it lacked a lot and was right next to the turnpike. Small playground but enough for a couple days just hoped for more.

  • Nice experience.

This was our first time camping in our Airstream and this was more than we could have hoped for as a campground! Staff is very friendly and professional. Bathrooms are very clean and nice. Plenty of space for us, quiet and calm. You can hear some highway noise, but it didn’t bother us. Would come again!

The sites are gravel and most of the sites are pull-through. We came in late but found our information in a mailbox. We actually end up using their storage service as well. So far all good.Something to note, there are several entrances to the road that lead to the campground, easiest is the entrance with the big sign, which I missed and had to go around and through a hill to access the campground. The bad: our site was so near the highway we kept hearing trucks all night. Pricey for the area.
