This is a great park with lots of space between sites, and water access throughout. We had a great time, and will be back again.

  • Great Easter weekend stay

We lucked out and got one of last two sites available the Wednesday before. We had site 27 which was fairly level with a tree, picnic table and fire pit. Sites are fairly close together but set up to not feel that close. Our site was an easy back in. Very quiet at night, everyone observed the 10 pm sound curfew. We enjoyed the hiking/biking trails, we did 1.7 miles, though there are much more miles along the lake and in the woods. We were across from a bathroom with showers though we didn’t use. Our site did not have sewer but they said they were working on adding to a number of sites along that row. Their dump station was open on the way out. They sell firewood at the check in building. We would definitely go back to this park and get the same site again or in that row. Maybe bring bike next time to ride trails. Very relaxing weekend.
