There was a few dogs barking excessively at times. Park office couldn’t help us since they were across the stream on tribal land. We were quoted two different rates when we first stopped in, luckily they gave us the lower one when we booked (46). We did have Sam’s card. In the ten sites on this part there was no one else staying. Rest of campgrounds in town were pretty trashy or closed, we checked most of them.

Labor Day weekend and our first time with a camper. Every campsite was taken but it was a great experience. Check in was smooth, they had plenty of escorts to take show you to your campsite. Our first camping experience as a family didn’t start out well. Our truck broke down, and we were stranded on the road 6 miles from the campground with spotty cell service. One of the staff members pulled our camper to our campsite that evening, while another staff member let us stay in their camper until our camper arrived. One of the staff members pulled our camper to our campsite that evening, while another staff member let us stay in their camper until our camper arrived. The staff kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We have a new vacation family now! Thank you to the Happy Holiday staff for the best vacation of our lives!!!!! We came down for our anniversary. We were at site number 2. It was awesome. We had a concrete pad at this site. (Not all sites have them) The creek was very loud and relaxing.
