Thanks, Campendium, for alerting me to this hidden gem! Everyone else in the area was sold out, but Winners RV found a spot for us, They are right in town, so don’t think you will be on the beach or anything. Everyone else in the area was sold out, but Winners RV found a spot for us, They are right in town, so don’t think you will be on the beach or anything. It’s a small place, not good for big rigs, but the owners are on site, very helpful, and the full timers were friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the WiFi, which wouldn’t stay connected and ended up being pretty useless. Please note, no showers or bathrooms available.

Very small, no frills park. Full hookups. The camp managers are fantastic and friendly, grounds are clean and well-maintained. It’s a very small park where sites are close together, but you can’t beat the short walk to the beach and all the restaurants and shops around you.

After battling Wilmington's traffic and aggressive drivers, we arrived at Carolina Beach. This RV park is very tiny. If you blink, you might miss it. It's basically just a home with some land and spaces for maybe 20 RV's. Full hookups, fairly small spaces. All sites are pull-in, back-out. The woman running the place was friendly. It's basically just a home with some land and spaces for maybe 20 RV's. Full hookups, fairly small spaces. All sites are pull-in, back-out. The woman running the place was friendly. There were only two or three vacant spaces in December, so I can imagine this place is booked solid during summer months. Easy walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars. A few blocks from beaches, Carolina Beach State Park, Fort Fisher, and other attractions. 20-30 minute drive to downtown Wilmington.
