Police activity closed down our route back to the camp we were staying at. We tried to wait out the closure but it became obvious it would be closed late into the night. The hour and a half trip around the closure was not appealing especially at the late hour. The owner not only answered the phone but came out with his flashlight and with parking directions the most novice driver could follow, had us lined up in a spot in no time. He even offered to help us hook up despite it being after 10:30 pm and having to initially get back up to help us. The spots are very tight which would be a challenge if coming and going with a motorhome and no tow rig, but the park is nicely kept up and had no issues with any of the hook ups. The park is close to downtown shopping, fishing and the walking trail to the beach.
