This is an Encore campground so there are a lot of seasonal campers that leave their rigs for the week and come back for the weekend to relax. All were very nice but most are there to listen to music, drive their golf carts, & float the river. Great life!As a Thousand Trail member we were able to stay free but they tried to put us in an E/W only site. Luckily the front desk was nice and moved us to a sewer site with 50 amp. There isn’t much to do in the area except float. I got in some good road rides but hiking, kayaking, mtb biking, rock climbing are all pretty far away. Covid review - all store staff wore masks 100% & they seemed to do a good job policing the limited pool usage. We didn’t try but you were supposed to make a reservation for your pool time. No one else wore masks around the campground except when going in the office, then they did. We would stay here again just not for so long. Great Verizon & good ATT service.

At&t had full bars 4G only. The campground was located with easy access to the freeway and the nearby towns of Bolton and Lake George Village.Make sure you checkout the sister campground down the road, it is WAY hustle and bustle! So many people and kids! If you are looking for a more family friendly campground, thats the one you will want to go to but if you want quiet, come here.Staff was excellent.

Water pressure was good, electric worked fine, cable TV wasn't crisp and clean but TV isn't a big deal to us, so, we didn't think much about it. Cell phone connection was pretty good. Strangely, my LTE tablet was fine, however, my phone had trouble in certain spots inside the RV and could only get one bar and dropped data connections. Never had a problem with the tablet. I don't know if they have WiFi and forgot to ask so I can't speak to that feature. We'd definitely stay here again. The only criticism I have is, and this is somewhat new for us, is the charge for propane was very high. I realize they don't sell a lot and need to upcharge, however, with the national average being in the $2.50 range, I paid over $4.00 per gallon. As it turns out, they charge a flat fee to refill a tank that's either empty or half full. As both my 30lb tanks were empty, my per gallon price was very low at $59 to fill both tanks as each tank took over 7 gallons to fill. If my tanks were half-full, the price obviously doubles. That said, it was incredibly convenient to be able to refill the tanks right at the campground. Trade-offs, I know.
