Very nice nice and wooded, tucked away RV park. Went as a first trip in our new RV, visiting family in Syracuse. Very friendly staff on phone and at check in. Didn't spend much time at the park, but atmosphere very nice, with a large amount of what appeared to be seasonal campers. Nice hookups. didn't get a chance to fish, but a nice pond/lake on premesis, would have been nice to kayak and fish, maybe next time. Quiet and wooded, with good size sites. Tent sites not open at this time due to just opening, Covid restrictions, so no bathrooms, activites, etc.

  • Great rustic-ish campground!

We stayed at this campground because our friends from back home moved to this area and we wanted to be close to them for visiting over July 4th. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. There are quite a few permanent-type spots with seasonal folks here so there is a community like feeling and you can tell people know each other.I believe there are only two sites that can be considered pull-through. The sites are kinda staggered, not in a super organized lined up fashion but that doesn’t effect the camping experience in my opinion. Lots of shade, dirt/gravel roads, no concrete pads. Picnic table and fire ring at every site. We were there on a holiday weekend but it was fairly quiet. A few rowdy campsites at night but nothing that disturbed our experience. We sat at our fire for hours chatting with our friends and in the mornings having coffee and never felt crowded or like we weren’t able to have conversation (except when the permanent/seasonal neighbor decided he needed to power wash all morning the one day). Lots of families and spots for the kids to be (riding bikes, playing volleyball, down at the lake). We didn’t use the lake area but we did walk down there to check it out. Cell service was spotty. Calls were fine, everything else was slow. Too slow to stream using data. The campground does offer wi-fi but it was no better than using data.
