We drove in at 6:00pm got a pull through site #1. Owner was very nice and had a nice view of what used to be Honey Lake but is dried up and is now a bed for the sand storms. Facilities are aged but clean and comfortable. Lots of shade with gorgeous tall pines. We liked the sandy ground. RV spots have distant lake views, water and electric. Amenities include WiFi, a store, picnic tables, Showers, laundry and toilets. Price was very fair. The nice lady host was accommodating and helpful. Sunset and sunrise over a Honey Lake is lovely. It was quiet- despite the road being somewhat close. there are no grocery stores or restaurants within walking distance FYI. if you need to stretch your legs, there is a pleasant country road of hard packed sand that takes you in a 3mile loop behind the park.

Nope it's just a piece of dirt next to a run down mobile home park. Apparently the owners like to shut off the water to the campground and not tell anyone that it's going to happen it when it will come back on. Apparently the owners like to shut off the water to the campground and not tell anyone that it's going to happen it when it will come back on. I was in the middle of a shower and all of a sudden no water. Yep not pleased, when I went to the office to find out what the issue was nobody would answer the bell. Talking with long term residents this seems to be standard operating procedures. Otherwise ho hum nothing special except the barking dogs and on random peacock that seems to be desperately searching for got long lost love all night long. Good luck with the water there.

Someone called it ghetto its rustic actually and doesnt bother me especially for 10 lowsey dollars per night for crying out loud. 9 The owner is a Navy vetran and a good religious man he told me a story that litterally brought tears to my eyes. 10 Please support this private rv camp its really awesome.
