This is a different kind of campground. Most of the sites are occupied with trailers that are semi-permanently deployed, with many patios and flower gardens. I'm told that many of the owners leave their trailers here all year, and live within 20 miles of the campground. The effect is of a place that is at once full and empty, but certainly not dumpy or in need of repair. They also have nightly sites, and we took one, but that is not their sweet spot. The campground is located in a nicely wooded area, with adequate, but not outstanding spacing. The public rest rooms were clean. There is an ice cream stand at the entrance, so how could that be bad? Wifi was weak, but we were in the back area of the campground, next to a nice water feature. Campground is very quiet. Curiously, there are a number of signs as you enter asking whether you have a right to be here. Not welcoming, these signs. Do they suggest people are using the campground illicitly? Don't know. Sites have electric and water, which is uncommon in this area, particularly as compared to state park campgrounds. We chose this option because we were concerned about unusual heat and wanted option to use AC.
