That bothers me because it could have been great. The laundry room is big and clean. But laundry has to be in by 5:00 pm because they want to close it at 7:00. They lock the door after 5:00 so no one starts a load afterwards, and afterwards you have to walk all the way around the store to get back inside. Don’t mess up and try to get your things after 7:00. Also they close the bathrooms between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. I showed up at 11:30 with towel in hand, ready for an nice shower after too long without, and I was out of luck. Wish they told me on check in.The sites were mixed, campground mostly empty, but they put us in a barren looking site at the end of the row instead of one in the middle area with more trees. You can’t pick your site ahead of time. The sites and roads are gravel. Each site has a perfectly measured level spot for your rig. But then our car was parked on a downhill. Reviews say “great wifi” but not at our site. It was unusable. 8 miles from Santa Fe has its pluses and minuses. It was quiet at night and the drive was easy, but don’t forget anything back at the site when you leave for the day. So would I stay here again? Maybe. There are not too many options near Santa Fe. But I would walk the grounds and pick a better site.

These people were couteous, had lots of local info on hand, their wi-fi service was one of the best I have experienced with multiple routers located around the grounds. The surfaces are dirt and some gravel, but my spot was level. I was parked away from others, it was quiet and no one bothered me.
Very nice.

Trees are low, roads are narrow. We were put in a site next to the pool. It was too short and narrow to park our truck so we were told to park across the road. What they neglected to tell us was they show movies in the evening and the 4 spaces across the road get filled by other campers, leaving us no where to park after we’d been to town. We had to drive around the campground, waiting for the movie to be over as there were no other parking spots. Hook ups we situated too far for us to reach the sewer and we had to use a longer water hose to reach the faucet. Since we couldn’t reach the sewer, we used the dump station before leaving. It’s situated in a curve, making it terribly difficult to get to, not to mention the low hanging trees we tried to avoid. This could be a nice campground with some improvements but as it is, we can’t recommend it.

The sites are not level. It is very close to Santa Fe, but I would never stay here again. Hopefully they'll get their sewer problem fixed quickly. There is some roadnoise from the nearby highway, but it's not too bad. There is Wifi in the camp that works well for general browsing. Sites are stacked up as close as possible to one another. There is absolutely no privacy. We can literally see 9 other units directly out the windows of ours.

This is a pretty sprawling campground, with all kinds of sites (tent only, large sites with only 30 amp service, some sites with full hook up, others with just water & electric and a few water only. Shop carefully! We got a full hook up 50amp site. There is a row of these in the southwest end of the park. These are VERY narrow sites. We snugged right up against the hookups, and still didn't have room on the other side to put out our rug. There are low bushes between the sites, so the awning worked, but very little room for chairs and such. Also, the water pressure was quite low. Weakest shower I've had in our rig. Not sure if this changes with the number of campers, though, since it is well water. Our area was VERY busy and full of some big rigs (most from Texas). Oh, and wifi is spotty. Our site literally had a repeater stuck in the ground right next to our rig, and we got a strong signal, but pretty weak internet. I had better luck just using my Verizon iphone's hot spot. But it was still nice. It's got a rustic feel, but didn't necessarily feel run down. BRIEF interactions with the staff were friendly enough. We also enjoyed the on-site hiking trail. It is only .5 miles, but making the circle a couple of times was nice on our last morning. I can certainly see us staying here again. It IS pricey (our two nights, with Good Sam Discount plus tax, came to $102), but that's Santa Fe for you!

It is on the outskirts of Santa Fe, but we were not visiting Santa Fe just passing through, so it was perfect for us. Easy on and off highway. Very scenic. My sister and I were traveling from my home in Southern California to her home in Montana during the pandemic so the campground was probably less than 20% full and most of those were probably full time RVers. It looked like even if it were close to capacity you would probably have enough privacy within your campsite.

We stayed here to see Santa Fe as this was one of the better priced option. The site was a pull through and no issue for our 40' class A. The site was just ok as far a being level. Seeing this was during the COVID - 19 time nothing was open. The roads were fairly tight and gravel/dirt.

This definitely ranks as one of the best private RV parks we have stayed at. Check in was very easy and friendly. We were provided with a campground map which also included suggested places to visit. Site 69 is on the outside edge of the park and is pull through. There was no one in front of us and the tent side to the side of us was empty.

This is easily the best option for staying in the Santa Fe area in my opinion (I lived sticks 'n bricks in Albuquerque for 17 years). Yes, it's a little outside of town, but that's what we like. Having lived in the area, I would not feel safe at all leaving my rig unattended inside Santa Fe. We really like the feel of this place -- it feels more like a campground than an RV park. Big rigs can pretty easily access 90% of the full-hookup sites. For smaller rigs who just want water and electric, there are very cool random sites scattered throughout the junipers in the rear part of the park. These would be good for 21' trailers or shorter, and sub-30' motorhomes based on my memory. The roads are a little rough for those areas, but the main strip of FHU up front is fine. Road noise isn't too bad (I-25 is near but it's down below and there are dense junipers in between). There is a really pleasant hiking trail loop through the undeveloped rear portion of the property, which is higher up and offers some really nice views. The dog park is pretty large, and there is an outdoor pool and a clubhouse that shows movies in the evening. Laundry is pretty expensive ($3 wash). Verizon signal is good, and there is an AT&T tower inside the park. Definitely have a meal at Harry's Roadhouse a couple miles down the road (towards Santa Fe). Everything there is VERY good.

It might have been a problem for a large rig, but our teardrop fit nicely. As others have mentioned, there’s a small pool, theater with nightly movies for the kids, and small store. We felt it was very quiet and had great access to the city. Cell service was great, but even though they have 4 or 5 different WiFi routers running, we couldn’t connect. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. We’d happily camp here again if we couldn’t stay up on the mountain at Black Canyon. Also, just a couple of miles up the Old Las Vegas highway towards Santa Fe is H****’s Roadhouse. This is one of the great eats in Santa Fe. Breakfasts (chili- red, green, or Christmas) are great and townies drive 1/2 hour out of their way for the coffee cake. Make a reservation for dinner if you have 6 or more. Fewer than 6 you might have to wait 15-20 minutes...it’s that good.

But truth be told, and let the word be known across every turquoise bejeweled woman and straw hat wearing man in Santa Fe, this is a pretty great RV park as private RV parks go. Lots of trees, all dirt, very uneven spaces if that matters to you, but had the same feeling many a state park or even national forest might...except there's a pool and showers and free WiFi (which was pretty fast) and cell service and other amenities like that.Too bad they charge so much extra for young kids, and then don't open the pool until 11am, the same time as checkout.

It was fantastic because we requested a "wooded" site, so we felt like we were camping out in the woods, but still only about 20 min from town. The grounds were beautiful, staff was friendly, and all of the amenities were excellent. The campground wifi worked great for us, although the campground was not crowded at all, so not sure how well it works when it's crowded. We had fairly decent service on our Verizon devices, although they dropped from LTE to 3G a few times. The sites do seem to be a bit close to each other, so you may be in close proximity to others during busier times, but early in the season, it was great to have the place almost to ourselves. Overall, we had a great stay here with convenient access to town. Again, we were here at the end of March the first weekend they opened, so it was pretty empty. I do imagine it gets much more crowded during peak times. Also $24 was for a non-hookup site since we use solar. Showers and bathrooms were pretty clean.
