I work via televideo and need solid cell service and quiet environment, this was a great fit! The management placed me in a perfect spot and I didn’t want ti leave. I’m in a class b do I appreciate access to Uber to get to the historic part and it was easy to get uber pick up. There’s lots of chain restaurants and is walkable to chilis, Olive Garden etc. showers are spacious and water is hot! yes laundry is in the bathroom yes the place could use an update but it’s perfectly nice for an urban city RV park.

I don’t typically submit reviews for stays unless they are particularly spectacular, or if they are so dismal I wish to warn others to look elsewhere. I’m afraid our stay at Los Suenos de Santa Fe falls into that category. Upon arriving, there was no one at the front office, nonetheless we were able to locate our name on the board and easily found the space. We settled in, and realized we neither had a restroom code nor the wifi password, 2 very critical components to what we are paying for when we rent an RV space for the night I went back to the office, tried the phone number, and no one answered. A person who said they worked there told me both items were supposed to be emailed to me, but didn’t seem terribly surprised they weren’t nor was he able to solve the wifi issue. We did access the restroom facilities thankfully. In terms of the rest of our stay, we made the request to be placed in a quiet and private area. Regrettably, we were placed along the eastern fence line, with a very loud mobile home park on the other side. We were in the exact location where a party raged on until midnight. There was amplified music, and loud voices, so needless to say, we didn’t sleep much and had the opposite experience from what we hoped for. While I understand the RV park has no control over what goes on at neighboring properties, they could have contacted me to ensure we were OK with that space and informed us they couldn’t accommodate the request, so we could have gone elsewhere. There were plenty of empty spaces, so I’m not sure why we were ironically placed on the loudest edge. I don’t have much of anything positive to say about our stay, aside from the other people staying there being lovely and the dog park area being nice.As a side note, I made two attempts to reach out to the park to share my disappointment, and they never gave me the decency of a response.

You get the feeling no one cares about the park. Many of the sites are folks living full time there and are obviously not in the best of circumstances. We did not feel secure there at all. A trailer park on the other side of the fence. No gate, no security. We took the precaution of keeping everything locked at all times. Never left chairs of grill out. All basement doors locked, including wet bay. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting... I'll leave it at that. The 50amp plug was on a pole and without the usual circuit breaker. You plugged in hot and unplugged hot. I will say they had good water pressure. Also, they charge for daily electricity usage. Sites are close together. Very close. Keep your blinds closed at all times.

As previous reviews stated, the spaces are a little close, but we've been in tighter spots. We have a 44' motorhome and had ample room. There was a limb hanging on the rear of our motorhome and though the staff wouldn't climb on our roof, do to liability, to trim it he brought us a ladder and cutters so we could do it. The park has permanent rv's, but is kept very clean and well maintained. There is a nice area in the back with a playground and room for walking pets. The only down side we had was paying extra for electricity, we've never had to do this before. We stayed five nights and were charged $24 extra for electric. Also as previous reviewed, the signage is very bad. You have to follow your GPS very closely in order not to miss it. Entrance is between The Loft and Manny's Auto, no sign for the RV Park.

There was a hidden charge for electric service that was not disclosed. The kids playground and dog areas are dirt with weeds and debris strewn about. Since there were no doggy clean up facilities, guests didn’t clean up. Dirty dog litter was obvious. The drives are broken asphalt. A drunk guest broke out in concert between 2:30 and 3:00 am. Who to call? Nobody.

We came in mid afternoon on the first day and had a less than friendly greeting. Our sites were so close that our slide out was almost touching our neighbors picnic table and likewise on our side with our neighbors. Only one shower (of two) for almost 100 sites was functional in the women’s bathroom. It was clean enough but too close and too much noise. The wifi was also not functional at our site. We were happy to have full hook up for a night and get some laundry done but would not stay again. Also, bring at least $4 in quarters if you plan to do one load of laundry. There was no change machine.

The sites were VERY tight. The electrical power is strung overhead and dropped down on poles between the campsites. The power drop was on the curbside of my rig. We had to maneuver our 5th Wheel so that we could open the slides and not hit the power pole plus give us room to open the door. I’m going to attempt to attach a pic. There is no sign at the entranceway. Caused me to turn my rig around in heavy traffic. The campsites themselves are gravel with concrete pads for tables. There is no evidence of maintenance to the campsites. I would use the word ‘dump’ but I’ll let someone else.

I asked them directly to keep it quiet, and it devolved to insults. Calling the office didn't help until the third call because no one was onsite. Management passive aggressively left me notes about where I was supposed to park. I got conflicting messages between the grounds-keeping staff and office staff. I finally had to reach out to the owner, who was polite and clear enough, but they didn't have a direct way to communicate with me about where I should park. Will not stay again. The laid back charm is just lax management. Stay at the rodeo grounds ten minutes away for $10 a night. You'll get a better night's sleep.

The hot water didn't work the 2nd night in the women's bathroom. The park was not in a good part of town. No signs for the park either. Stay elsewhere. I'm not sure why they charge so much for a rundown place with crappy appliances.

However, if you don't have errands or things you want to do in town I'm sure you could find more scenic spots outside of town. There's an old parking lot in front where the remnants of it used to be. Older gravel campground, slightly unleveled and tight spaces. We had no problems with our camper fitting in while staying here since we are so small, but we really dislike being so close to neighbors. Especially when your neighbor's sewer hookup is right next to your picnic table. We chose this campground due to its proximity to downtown Santa Fe. For that, it's excellent. There's a trash can located at every site, so that's convenient. This campground needs to be renovated.Water pressure is good. Speaking of water, this campground is apparently in a flash flood zone. We didn't use the bathhouse, so nothing to report on that. The area that this is in seems okay. Drivers are nuts here though.

When RV camping in a campground that's within a city, you can't really expect much in the way of traffic or noise, but I guess I still wasn't too crazy about the fact that there were apartment buildings on the other side of the fence. The pluses: there are a number of stores and restaurants in walking and biking distance, including Target, Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants (I cycled to Horseman Haven cafe one day and it was good food that seems to be frequented by locals and at one time, Anthony Bourdain). They've got a book lending (you can take and/or place your own books when done reading them) and DVD lending library (these you have to bring back before you leave). Uber is convenient into Santa Fe; costs about $13/way.The minuses: as mentioned above, the proximity to apartment buildings. It was also a little hard to find from the street. I would look for "The Lofts" sign and then keep to the left-most driveway. Road leading into the campground needs some refinishing; just take it slow as you make your way down. Not much privacy between sites.
