The sites are somewhat small and as the park is older. We are traveling in 43 ft MH with a toad. Cell phone service was spotty with both ATT and Verizon as far as data transfer is concerned. Even with an external MIMO antenna and mobile router download and upload speeds were not anything to brag about. The sites are gravel and fairly level. I did have to put blocks under my front tires while leveling. If you are driving a rig over 40 ft, be sure to hold close to the office when you come into the park because you are going to have to make a U turn that is fairly tight.

  • Good stopover with tight access.

It was a good place to stop for the night as we continued our trip to the next place. Being in Raton, it was convenient and right off I25. Not noisy at all. Good internet. Cell coverage was good in town but spotty easy of town. They give you a double 30 amp connection to plug your 50 amp into. We didn't have any problem using it. The dump connections were at an angle, which seemed off to us, but since we were only staying overnight we didn't use them.
