Decent enough for overnight stay, but place continues to be fairly run down. The only two positives is that the staff is very nice and the internet is excellent. Good enough if you are passing through...

Small park, mostly dirt with some gravel. Needs to be re-graveled. A bit run down. Pull thru sites are set up like buddy sites but hoop-ups are weirdly spaced. You need to park really close to hook-ups so then you are very close to your neighbor.

Stores and restaurants within walking distance. Nice if you want to leave your rig hooked up and in place.AT&T cell service was perfectly fine. No problem streaming. Wi-Fi was available, but didn’t connect straight away. I suspect it wouldn’t be a problem, I just didn’t mess with it since AT&T signal was strong enough for me.The shower was clean as were the restrooms. The only negatives were, the laundry room was closed for the winter, as was the area to wash dishes. If you need the laundry room, I would call ahead and see if it’s reopened.

Great spot for a sleep over. They have many pull thru sites. Quick in and out. Also has full hookups (and cable). We found ATT and Verizon had good service. North side of the park had full bars for ATT cell service. Another plus is it's proximity to gas stations.

Ok for overnight. Very friendly staff. Laundry decent. WiFi set up a hassle but ok. Very quiet. Cool evenings which was great after Texas heat. Was able to stream from AT&T LTE.

It's a very spacious dirt layout with plenty of room to maneuver and long pull-throughs. Groceries and restaurants are nearby. We've been here during a late-season melty snow and it was pretty muddy in spots but not everywhere. Sometimes we get a spot right under a streetlight and have to cover our shower skylight at night. There's no significant road noise. Staff is friendly and Verizon signal is fine. There is grass around the perimeter where we walk our dogs (dog park usually has little yappy chip-on-their-shoulder dogs in it or nearby - they must be with a permanent resident). On my last stay I noticed our 50-amp outlet had 40-amp breakers on it (I kind of recall that being mentioned somewhere), but there's no combination of things I could have running on either line that would surpass upper 30's so it's kind of moot. This is fine for a place to say but by no means a destination.

We stayed here in early February for one night while traveling. It was fine. Site was level and cable worked. We did not unhitch. Bathrooms were clean. It was quiet too - was not bothered by road noise at all. I would not stay here more than 1 night as whole campground is dirt.

This place was muddy, dirty, and wet. Sites do not have asphalt or concrete, so they are just brown dirt with the snow melting turning these sites into mud lakes. The Bathhouse is under construction, but full hook-up with cable, and the best thing on the premises, the laundry. The game room had so much dust, and old books it looked ancient. Would only stay here if I have an emergency. The staff was super nice though, and hardware, restaurants and gas stations near by. Best attraction Capulin Volcano National Park.
