Lots of trails and the restaurant and wine bar are nice. The campground itself is tight and the pedestals are off. Dumping is extra. There is a bathroom and shower but I didn’t check it out. There is a creek nearby which sounds lovely at night and lots of beautiful birdsong in the morning. Quiet at night for good nights sleep. Cell service very low Verizon 3 bars 3g extended and no service on T mobile. Not a space to stay for a workweek for digital nomads but a great stop for a luxurious weekend.

We loved having access to the hot springs and hiking trails form the campground. Some of the sites are small and the hook-ups are on the wrong side. The dump is not included in the nightly rate and costs $21.50. We did not have any cell service and the wifi was 50mbps at best.

Purchased hot springs pass and was treated as second class citizen when using pass the next morning. Will not return

  • It’s all about the waters… but the campground isn’t bad either.

They offer a variety of accommodations, including RV spaces. It’s a surprisingly nice campground too! The spaces are tucked in among the trees and most have vegetation between sites for privacy. The sites have power and water – mostly 30amp and a few with 50amp service. There are some quirks – like the hookups for our space (#19) were on the wrong side and towards the front of the space. We ended up solving the problem by pulling in rather than backing in. Showers and bathrooms were clean and very nice. There is a dump station, but it costs an extra $20. You have to pay at the resort on the day you plan to dump and show your receipt to get the dump unlocked. We enjoyed the 2-mile Bosque Loop trail adjacent to the campground and the Rincon mountain biking trail system from the resort. Use of the resort/spa is NOT included in your camping fee. Purchase your day passes when you register and get a discount. Now let’s talk about the spa…The spa had about a dozen pools with varying temperatures (89° to 104°) and different mineral contents – iron, soda, lithia, and arsenic. I’m not sure just how therapeutic “taking the waters” actually is, but I’ll give soaking in hot mineral water until I’m boneless a fair trial. They also had wet and dry saunas, we especially liked the eucalyptus steam sauna. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, whisper only please. The shower and locker area is very nice and I just loved the swimsuit spinners that wring the water out of your suit. No dripping suits hanging in the RV. Yay!A nice gift shop with an array of practical items and souvenirs. We had dinner at the on-site Artesian Restaurant & Wine Bar and liked it. Nothing is cheap, but it’s not horribly overpriced either. We’d definitely enjoy a return trip!We had 4 bars of Verizon 3G in the campground and the campground wifi worked well.

Love this place! Very private site just steps from the resort/spa. 13 various natural hot spring pools, wonderful spa services, fantastic restaurant! The RV park is rustic, but has 30 amp, water hookups and a dump station. Nice bath/shower in RV area. Wonderful resort! I will return!

We thought we’d find a spot in nearby BLM but decided to pay for the RV park and take advantage of the springs. The actual RV park is more like camping (no concrete pads), but there is electrical and water hookup. We actually did not use the RV park facilities (they are coed, by the way). What we really enjoyed were the mineral pools, the grounds, and the dining. It was a great experience (even in the rain). We went to the springs after 6pm- a little less expensive. You have access to all pools, the locker rooms, and they give you towels. The staff was great everywhere. We heard the restaurant and bar were fantastic, but we didn’t have a reservation so couldn’t get in until late, so decided to eat in. But we did have breakfast next next morning, which was reasonable for a unique and good menu. Also- they have free coffee starting at 6:30 am in the restaurant bar— if you want to grab and go some good organic brew! There is WIFI which was decent.

There are sites for tents and RVs as well as rental trailers that are currently still under construction but look like they will be cool. There is a restroom building near the gate of the campground. The campsites are mostly surrounded by trees and vegetation although some are more private than others. It seems the "tent sites" are closer together and less private than the larger RV sites which seems like a dumb idea. I mean, RVs at least have walls so the need for screening from your neighbor is a bit less important. Well, I am a tent camper so I am biased. Personally as a tent camper I would request to be in a more private, screened spot since all the spots cost the same! The property has hiking trails and lovely places to explore. There is also a restaurant and of course the spa and hot springs. Note that the (high) campground fee does NOT INCLUDE hot springs access.

Note that their maps indicate most of the sites are back in, but most of the sites have hookups at the left front corner or somewhere along the left side (looking into the site). Not such a problem from RV’s just pull in. But trailers may have an issue with some of the sites because of the location of the hook up relative to where they are on the trailer. Keep this in mind when scheduling your stay. The sites are loose rocks and packed dirt and are not level, but ours was not far from level. Sites on the outer lanes seem to have a lot of room, while sites on the inner ring are narrow but have lot’s of vegetation to screen you from your neighbors. We are 34 feet long and were towing. We fit in site 11, but had to unhook because we had to pull in. Site 17 seems to be the best option for a long pull through and is near the creek. We would definitely stay here again. AT&T doesn’t exist here.Spend the extra money and get a day pass to the pools then do some hiking. Perfect setting for both!
